As this was the first time, we were so confused by the service. We entered, said for 2, they stared at us from the counter, we waited, and we just randomly grabbed any chairs to sit. There were just us and another 2 customers at that time. The atmosphere was awkward since we received 0 communication from the waiter unless we payed him at the counter. I wrote the order items in codes that I forgot to put size, so he just assumed and brought a large 🫨🤔. We ordered Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm , duck and bamboo shoot soup and chè bưởi. Another woman approached me, as it appeared English wasn’t the first lady’s language or anyone else after that. I asked to order a mango shake. They (the 2 ladies & a few others behind the counter) all glared at me. I asked if they know & make mango shake. The one lady finally said yes. I waited for almost a min with no other reaction, just glares. So I said forget it & the lady asked, you don’t want it? They couldn’t be serious.
