A Culinary Delight at Made's Restaurant! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Made's Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an experience that left me craving more! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks in large part to the incredible manager who ensured that every guest felt right at home. The staff at Made's Restaurant are truly a gem. They are not only friendly and attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that really enhanced our dining experience. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our visit special, and that personal touch made all the difference. Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and made from high-quality ingredients. I found myself savoring every bite, and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste. It's clear that the chefs at Made's have a passion for their craft, and it certainly shows in their culinary creations. Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner with friends or a special night out, Made's Restaurant is the perfect choice. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit! Highly recommend to anyone looking to indulge in a delightful dining experience. Thank you, Made's, for a wonderful evening!

The customer service was ok, I ordered the jollof rice and Chicken. I also ordered Egusi and pounded yam. I have been to many Nigerian/African restaurants that sell good quality food, never in my life have I paid $62 for such small portions. I didn’t pay attention to the quantity of food when ordering, but I will say I was disappointed when I got home and realized I spent almost $100 on NOTHING. Inflation is real, but for almost $65 for chicken and rice and egusi that is the smallest portions I’ve EVER seen. UNBELIEVABLE. Please check the portions before you leave this restaurant, I am willing to pay for good food, but I will NEVER AGAIN pay $62 for this. UNBELIEVABLE! I saw your response and I was never refunded…. I paid $62 and could not eat the egusi as it was pure OIL. The chicken was so hard to chew… what kind of chicken is that stiff?…. Please don’t falsify your response, I did not receive any refund. I was charged almost $100 for GREASY egusi and I asked for pounded yam and that’s not pounded yam…. Please be honest with customers, we work hard for our money. I have ordered from you guys on skip the dishes before, I am disappointed this time! Take care! I support black businesses and ESPECIALLY my African people, but $62 for this…. I’m BEYOND DISAPPOINTED…

Prices are truly ridiculous and cannot be justified no matter how much inflation has affected food items. 15 dollars for steamed rice ONLY, in a small plastic container is sick. Do not respond to this with any snarky comeback you came up with in your mind. JUST FIX IT. Naija eatery in Rexdale serves steamed rice in a container atleast 2 times larger than yours for just $6.99? Are they not in the same economy you are in? How are they managing to do it? Also your employees are rude, and you never have change for customers using cash. Ridiculous restaurant that is not worth the trouble. Will attach a picture of the container size Made uses for rice compared to the other restaurant I mentioned with a pen for scale. Keep in mind this is $15 vs $6.99 for the larger container. You buy one thing from this restaurant with a side of protein and a drink and you spend atleast 50 dollars. The owners need to really rethink what they are doing.

I just have a question for these guys, like how can you in good conscience sell “ewa aganyin” I mean beans & whitening fish for $40? I’m sure they will blame it on inflation but beans isn’t a luxury food item so it’s ridiculous if you ask me, thank goodness for restaurants like flo’s grill. Aje o!

HELLO?!?!? I read your response and all I have to say is you need to fire whoever is handling these responses, Coz replying with “comparing us to other restaurants isn’t a Smart thing to say” is absolutely foolish. This is one of the major reasons why ur business will not stand the test of time coz you prove over again that you lack emotional intelligence & ur customer service skills suck! Tell me why u dropped ur number at the end? For me to call you after you tell me I’m not smart, must be some new brand of drugs u smoked! This isn’t even about the price of ur food anymore, I see how u respond to customers who complain about ur service, instead of you to take it as criticism & do better you want to clap back and act savage which is the height of stupidity. Ask the Chinese how they successfully run food chain business that span thru generations & open different locations. But you lot can’t see beyond ur nose, you don’t think big that’s why u drop unintelligent responses to your customers! Whoever responds to this needs to go back to school coz even this your savagery sef no enter, let me school you on savagery! Your stupidity reeks & this is how u bring ur poor service from wherever u come from to infiltrate this beautiful place! Reply me with nonsense again and I will become a nuisance in this review section since y’all want...

I came to your restaurant on March 8th to buy a plate of asaro (yam porridge) with beef and moimoi. While I was deciding what to get, the owner, MADE, walked out with a frown and started dishing the meal I had chosen.

As she served the asaro, I moved over to the salesgirl to let her know I also wanted moimoi. She couldn’t hear me, so I stepped closer to the glass partition after repeating myself twice. At that point, MADE frowned even harder and snapped at me to move back from the glass partition.

If you're so bothered about customers getting too close and speaking over the food (which is understandable), maybe install a proper barrier instead of glaring at people like they’re a problem for wanting to buy food. Your customer service is absolutely terrible, especially for the prices you charge.

Do better. I didn’t even bother rating the food or atmosphere because your service was that bad.

Following up on your response, you are indeed very rude and lack customer service skills, too bad. Just so you know, I am not a regular though I have come in to buy food a few times and you have NEVER given me more than the portion you serve normally. That was my first time of buying your asaro and guess what, I have been stooling since yesterday. I wasn't sure it was the food but I had to observe without eating anything else before responding. Thank you for making me now resolve not to visit your restaurant any...

My first phone contact with them was not the greatest

I’ve ordered from them via Ubereats and I’ve always had a pleasant experience through that route.

And since I really enjoyed their Jollof rice, I decided to inquire about placing an order for a catering size.

The lady who answered the phone was quite in a hurry to end our conversation without fully letting me speak and understand what I was asking.

I advised her, that I am inquiring about the pricing for your Jollof rice - and she immediately stated that I should go to their website and look at pricing

I then stated that the pricing for what I was looking for was not on their site (as I had visited their website as well as their Instagram page) and I continued to speak but she interjected reaffirming that I go to the website

Somewhere along the line she heard me say “a catering size” to which she then stopped and asked me to go ahead with my inquiry.

After she heard me out- she advised that they don’t take orders for catering sizes over the phone - I needed to WhatsApp a number -

If this was stated on the website which they were quick to refer me to, it would have saved me the trouble.

Given my recent experience- I’m a bit hesitant to proceed but this could just be a one off incident.

I really enjoy their food whenever I use ubereats so I might still...
