Store policy when you placed an order in advanced you have to pay first which all businesses do. But in our case the day when we came to pick up our order , the person who came to pick it up had no idea that the Lechon was paid already so he paid again "but they didn't inform the person that it was paid already." So 1week later my sister called them to inform that they paid twice. The lady she spoke with was rude and not accommodating and told her why she just called them now. My sister explained the reason why and what happened and asked to get her money back coz they paid twice, and the lady said they don't do refund. Then my sister tried to contact them again they just keep hanging up on her. Is that how you handle customer complaints? Very unprofessional.
There policy was pay first before you placed an order they should've told the person who came and pick up the order that it was paid but instead they still accepted the payment. They just pocketed another $300 on top of the Lechon we ordered from them. In this case they are not honest with their customers. Your reputation is more important than money, but I guess it's the other way around. Let just say there is a miscommunication on their part but you as a business owner you should know better and should handle this issue properly. Very bad customer service!!!
P.S when you ask someone to pick up an order on your behalf always ask if the order is paid already, otherwise you will end up...
Read moreOne of the best locations for roast pork in Toronto, if not the best - and I have been to MANY locations around the city.
The store is consistent with the quality of the food. The skin of the roast pork here is exquisitely crunchy, and also has a sweetness to it. The skin here is never 'chewy' (unless you try the Philippine style pork; I have not tried this at other stores, as this style is generally not to my liking). The meat is never too hard and chewy. You can tell the butcher how much fat you want in your order; they know exactly where to cut to cater to your needs. You can ask for whatever sauces you want, as long as they have it. For instance, I often take my order with plum sauce, rather than soy, and the staff always serve with a smile.
I don't often buy bbq duck, but this is also a good place for it; well seasoned and you can trust it to be FULLY cooked.
Good prices for their items; most other stores sell for a higher prices for worse quality.
Rather small store, which makes it slightly problematic when there is a lineup of more than 4 people. Not a great deal of variety available, but they are all well made.
Friendly staff. They will occasionally bring their children in to work the register, and it's good to see them training their children in business.
You see into their kitchen as you wait and watch them prepare the food, which is...
