McDonald's — Restaurant in Toronto

Quite possibly the worst managed restaurant in the city. All McDonald's locations are bad, as far as accuracy in filling orders, but this location takes carelessness and incompetence to a new level. In the past year, of about a dozen visits to this location, every single visit resulted in a substantial mistake on the order being filled. Because of Covid restrictions, curbside pickup became the norm, and I used the McDonald's app to place my order - so there should have been no misunderstandings on my order. No luck. The latest was yesterday evening when they forgot to give me an apple pie that I ordered. By the time you notice an error with pickup or drive-thru, in most cases you have already left the restaurant and when you open the bag you get the wonderful surprise of incompetent service. I will not go back there again - enough is enough. If there were any hope for justice in this world, people would boycott this location and it would close down. Their consistent inability to get orders right shouldn't be rewarded. They obviously don't care enough to get things right, so we, as consumers, shouldn't care if they close down. Employees do not listen whatsoever. I ordered a decaf coffee and I told the girl twice that I specifically need decaf. I check my receipt and it says “seniors regular coffee”. That’s fine everyone makes mistakes. I tell the girl and she told the lady making coffee that my order needs to be decaf. I made them aware that I need decaf because I have health restrictions and can not have caffeinated coffee. Yet again they don’t listen to anyone and serve me regular coffee. Thankfully, I was watching the lady making coffee and saw that she poured me regular instead of decaf and asked them to make it again with decaf like I initially asked. The ladies behind the counter were rolling their eyes and acting like it was such a big deal that they had to fix my coffee that they didn’t make right the first time BECAUSE THEY DONT LISTEN. Please remind your employees that they are serving us and they need to be giving their customers respect and listening to what we are ordering. Especially since I have health restrictions...

It's a regular McDonald's, has a patio, lots of tables but it's very cramped in the dining room. Outside has 5 tables.

Staff was friendly, dining room and kitchen were clean. The washrooms are small, not enough room for two people.

I gave it a three because while I was waiting for the washroom there were three guys who worked at that location in front of me. All left the washroom without WASHING THEIR HANDS. I literally seen the last guy just pants up and left out the door😷.

I get it, not every worker will wash up after visiting the facilities and this will happen at the most prestigious of restaurants(which I eaten at many times) but when there's customers around you need to make the gestures and show you are washing up to make the customers feel happy. They didn't, three times. Totally made me feel yucky, thankfully I ate before 😂 didn't feel like upchucking.

Otherwise I would have given the store a 5 easily. Everything else was clean, staff were fast and efficient, friendly and drink area...
