There are only two words to describe this location for Meltwich, Gods Gift. I wish I would write a 10-page essay on how amazing this institution is but Google is limiting my word count. The first reason why this is the best place for food is because of the food itself. I walked into the store for the first time not knowing what to order at all, and an employee that goes by JD helped me with the menu and deciding what I should order based on my liking. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and let me just say, the savory, warm, and stringy cheese mixed with the amazing seasoning of the steak and chipotle sauce was an explosion of god sent flavor in my mouth. It was actually so good in fact, that I have been coming here every single week after my classes just to meet JD and order some amazing food. Speaking of JD and the staff, they are the main reason why this place is getting its 5-star rating, I wish I could honestly give this place a 10/5 stars rating but Google is not letting me so I will have to settle with a 5/5. Anyways, the staff here is absolutely amazing, especially my buddy JD, he always greets me and my friends with a smile and welcome, and he is always telling jokes and playing small pranks on us making us laugh, he honestly makes the experience of eating at this masterpiece 10 times better in all aspects. If I am not coming for the food, I still want to come to greet JD as I do not see him as an employee, but instead, I see him as a friend. To end this off, I just want to say that if you are considering eating at this location for any food you may be craving, as a famous NIKE ad once said,...
Read morePATHETIC!! DONâT GO HERE!! If i had the option to give 0, I would have given that. First off, we were charged extra 13 dollars extra on what we actually ordered for. Thank goodness we realised, and told them that you charged us extra, to which we were asked to pay the money again, and were told that we will get a refund in 3 working days. At this point we were 76.3 dollars out of our pocket for two burgers and some tots. In addition to this we paid âextra moneyâ for the cheese to be added to the SPICY burgers. We get home, start eating realising that the burgers are SWEET and has no cheese to it. We give them a call, asking them Did you add cheese to burger?, to which he says âActually itâs out fault, the person who made these is on training. I can make new burgers for you, if you can come and pick up, to which we refused. The guy says iâm calling you in 10 minutes, we waited and he never called. We call them back and he says can you bring the HALF EATEN burgers back to the restaurant and i can add cheese to HALF EATEN burgers, thatâs all i can do, to which we OBVIOUSLY refused and hung up. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCHH PATHETIC SERVICE ANYWHERE. THEY MADE US PAY 76 DOLLARS FOR SWEET BURGERS AND SOME POTATOES, AND MOREOVER DIDNâT EVEN ADD WHAT WE PAID...
Read moreMy roomate recommended this spot and I am very disappointed to say the least.
I got the Nashville chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the Monday burger deal.
When I ordered my chicken, I asked for no coleslaw. The lady at the counter let out a sigh and rolled her eyes. I assume sheâs new because she had to be walked through how to process this in the system. But still⌠being new is no excuse to have an attitude. Especially, when I didnât say anything rude to her. My chicken was flat. Not juicy and bland in flavour.
My boyfriend asked to add an extra patty to his burger special and they charged $5.50 for a thin âangusâ burger style patty. The buns were soggy and had minimal sauce. Youâd think because all he wanted was cheese and ketchup⌠youâd be able to taste the ketchup.
Also, this is a licensed restaurant and they donât offer coolers or seltzers. Itâs upsetting that they are only really accommodating to âbeer drinkersâ. Along with beer, they had a bar rail but no good brands.
Wonât be coming back anytime soon.
