I guess this is one of those you get what you pay for things. I had the chicken souvlaki on a pita. It is under 10 bucks so I figured it would be decent. They offer the usual toppings such as tomatoes , onions,. tzatziki and lettuce but also offer french fries. Never seen that before but I had a few added in. I would classify this place as fast food but really with an empty restaurant it was pretty slow even though it was completely empty. I don't think they keep the sticks pre cooked in a warmer since it was hot and seemed fresh. Nonetheless it took quite some time to get the chicken in a pita. Tomatoes are barely ripe and the chicken is certainly from frozen. It was quite rubbery and dry which is something I am accustomed to at the mall restaurants. I ate the pita but would be hard pressed to go back. I guess given the price it was ok but frankly some of the mom and pop places seem to deliver better quality at a similar or slightly lower price. You're out the door at around $10 which these days seems almost reasonable. If you've never had good greek souvlaki then this place will be adequate but don't expect it fast and good. I went the restsurant at 9:30pm like I was told to do before and on this occasion to place my order. However, when I got there all the lights were off, open sign off, but the restaurant itself was open. I asked why they're closing and its ONLY 9:30pm and explain I was told to come in and place the order. The cashier told me they close at 9:30pm and not 10pm like the sign says on the door and on Google. This is not the first time they've told me to come in and place the order only to have them close their doors after being instructed to come in. Read moreJust left restaurant, totally horrified. I will never go back. I ordered over the phone. When I got there and wanted to split one item on a separate bill. The manager pretty much yelled at me and said he couldn't, and blammed me the customer of not telling my special instructions as he called it. Who blames the customer? I am a manager as well and I couldn't imagine talking to a customer like that. Even after payment if a customer changes their mind it's ok! Instead he should have told me next time mention it to the server, done that's it. He told me head office checks transactions and if they see a void it's too much work for him.
