Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Toronto

i’m usually not one to write reviews but this location got me upset. after getting my sandwiches, i came home to check the reviews and saw multiple one start reviews with other people describing the same issues i experienced. i usually don’t go to mr. sub but i specifically like how they toast their sandwiches so i decided to go get dinner with my mom after several months. i usually go to a different location but i decided to try this location for the first time since it’s closer to my house. i ordered two sandwiches, and the lady kept getting confused between the two sandwiches. i told her i wanted a large white bread and she got a small one and cut it up and then seemed frustrated when i said i wanted large. they seemed more rushed to close up the place than to provide proper customer service. none of the ingredients were fresh and you could tell that by looking at the vegetables as well as the taste of it. the lady asked me if i wanted it toasted, and i said yes, but she probably toasted it for less than 30 seconds. both the sandwiches were not cooked properly. it’s upsetting when the price is high and you receive bad food. i will not be coming back to this location again, as i did not like their customer service, and the quality of the food...

I prefer a different type of sandwich, but, this location is going to have me back there trying the food, and this is the reason why. Two entries upon going in, the large windows were extra clean, in fact, the entire place was immaculate. It was extra organized behind the counter. All Mr.Sub's smell like their brand, brand uniformity is what has made them so popular. I was stranded at 12am in the morning and broke but thirsty, had just walked over thirty kilometers without a drink. The server trusting I was not a shady character, jumped from busy and greeted me directly with a big smile. My request for water was unusual, but she had the humanity to tell me I needed a cup or bottle to do so, and this is rare. This location should know how thankful I am for that cup of water, Thank You. This occurred last night, I would give this person a raise if I was the employer! My husband and I like Mr. Sub, the bread is very soft, fresh, and takes really good (usually) I ordered the Montreal smoked meat, and when I bite into the sub, I noticed the bread was stale. I don't like my sub toasted, so this was a disappointment to me. After lunch I needed to use the bathroom, let me tell you I didn't want to touch anything in there, but I had to go badly, the toilet looked like it had not been cleaned for a year there was poo and pee all over the place and tons of hairs stuck to the toilet. I was so disgusted Mr Sub, these hygienic issues need to be addressed. There are more reviews about how the bathrooms are filthy and nothing gets done about the problem. Maybe the Ministry of Health should pay you a surprise visit and use those washrooms. It can not be that busy where 1 of the 3 employees can't clean a washroom.
