I have not been here for about a couple of years. The Place looks great and bigger than before. The Asian lady who could be an employee or the owner herself was great at customer service. I Ordered the Big Breakfast since I was hungry. It took a little bit of time even though it was just me and another person on his way out. That 's OK since I ordered the "Big Breakfast". The food look great , but once I tasted the food,it all went downhill. The sausage was low quality or old.The eggs were 4 small eggs . The bread tasted stale. The pancake was so soft and sticky , that I can barely spread butter on it .It tasted awful and crumbles when you try to pick it up with your fork.. I only ate the eggs ,1/4 of the toasted bread ,half a sausage and a small piece of the 2 big pancake. The potatoes tasted bland and old also like it was reheated. The coffee was also terrible, it tasted old and diluted. I paid around $25 for the meal. $18 for the breakfast and $ 3 for bottomless coffee. I tipped the waitress. So to quench my hunger I went to the MacDonalds near by and had a coffee and a breakfast sandwich for under $5. I would not be returning to this place and I would not recommend this place to my friends and family members. It looks like this place likes to reheat and serve old food from what I saw on the reviews .
Since food is what you are selling, and the egg smart franchise usually mean quality food. The Egg-Smart company should check this place out, because it is lowering...
Read moreEggsmart offers great breakfast and decided to stop by to have breakfast at Rylander location. I understand Pandemic has created havoc for many businesses. The rules are there to follow. But making it difficult for patrons is not appreciated. Showing the vaccination certificate along with photo is required, I get that. But enforcing it in a bureaucratic way or being defensive is not welcome. On top of this you have to scan the QR code for contact tracing. After all these stringent and defensive attitude, I felt it was a bit too much to go thro these hasles. My hunger vanished for a breakfast. I went back to the other eggsmart location, where the process was simple and friendly. I hope rylander location can find ways to make these rules patron friendly. I am sure no one is against safety and healthy standards of the province. You need patrons and run the business, but Rylander concept will drive business away. Best wishes to Rylander. Moral of the review- you can be friendly to patrons and can achieve best results by being kind and appreciative to the patrons who want to support eggsmart and...
Read moreTerrible experience today! My first time at this location, it was empty not surprised it was late. However when I arrived the chef came and pointed for me to sit in the corner near the door. The table beside mine still dirty. Waitress came and took my order, food came shortly but what I specifically asked to not have added to the dish due to allergies was added in great numbers. I told the waitress who brought the food out immediately. She asked me why I didn’t say something before I said I did in fact tell the lady who took my order what not to add. She took the dish back and the chef now comes out upset asking me the same thing. I said I cannot eat that as I’m very allergic to it. Another meal comes out will less food and very portly done they took out an avocado and like they crushed the centre of it .. it was terrible. I should have left the plate on the table but I gave grace the food was nasty I will never return to this location! Do better! If your customer has allergies why are you getting upset at the customer? I only gave 1 star by force! My garbage meal cost $25...
