Walked into a seemly empty store today at 7:50pm, one staff member was by the door tying up garbage and two other staff standing near cash. Since the store was empty I asked the staff member tying up garbage if the store was open and she stated the store was closed. I have been to this location multiple times before and remembered the store being open later than 8pm so I repeated the question and once again the staff stated the store is closed. To which neither staff behind cash objected.
I left the store and sat in my car when I saw another customer enter the store. So I waited and saw a couple other customers enter and be served. I re-entered the store to see the lady in the back of the store on a call, so I asked another staff member when the store closed to which he responded 9:30pm. I asked why the other staff member told me the store closed at 7:50pm. He proceeded to lie and state that she did not say that. I mentioned that she did say that and that I saw him standing there when she did. I ordered my coffee and the cashier was flustered and forgot to cash me out. I waited and mentioned I did not pay to which he stated oh right. Read moreThis needs to be dealt with. I did not order from them however I am an Uber Eats driver and I was picking up. Today, a worker was preparing the mobile orders. They had a lot going on as they were busy in store, at the drive thru and the mobile orders. The worker was very nice to me and told me it would be a few minutes. Then 2 minutes later as she was preparing my order, another worker, a man with tattoos on his arm, a white man, I’m not sure of his name, came and told her “don’t worry about the online orders, the drivers will have to wait.” Now this really made me upset. As an Uber eats driver, we get our per delivery, not by hour. So the fact that he told her not to worry and that the drivers will have to wait is pretty disgusting to me. They may be working a sort and and hourly so they can take all the time in the world, but as an Uber eats driver, we would like to be as fast and efficient as possible to get more orders. She was mid way thru my order and then left it. I waited another five minutes and then left. I got offered to pickup more from them but I declined. I've decided to leave my review now because I was taking some people here for some drinks on Sunday, February 23, 2025, only to find the location was CLOSED. I understand the store hours are properly listed to close at 9:30 but personally, I think it is beyond ridiculous the store closes this early. Excuse me for pulling up just after 9:30 thinking it would close at 10pm like every other normal store, but no this location wants to be special. I am also entitled to leave a review because I did purchase a beverage from here a while ago. While there was nothing wrong with the beverage I ordered, I did not want what I got. I knew I did not want a cold beverage or anything too sweet but the menu is so damn confusing I thought I'd play it safe and order a something-frapp. That drink was ice cold and loaded with whipped cream. They need to better describe what the drinks are on their menu so people like me know what they are signing up for.
Is it my fault for ordering a drink I wouldn't like? No. Is it Starbucks fault for not putting boundaries in to prevent customers from doing that? Yes.
