Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Toronto

I visited around 6:15 PM on Monday, January 13th. When I arrived, there was no one at the counter. A staff member who had finished their shift called someone from the back to take my order.

When the staff member (a short girl named luvpreet) arrived, I asked if the beef was freshly prepared, and she mentioned it had been cooked in the morning and wasn’t fresh. I then ordered a chicken on the rocks. While ordering, I casually inquired about the price difference between the medium and large sizes. She said it was a $3 difference and charged me $15.49. However, she didn’t mention that the medium was $9.99, which I only realized later. After I paid, the platter was prepared in under a minute and handed to me. The chicken wasn’t freshly grilled or warmed up. It felt like she just added sauce to a pre-prepared platter. Additionally, she didn’t ask if I wanted any veggies, which I found disappointing. When I brought up my concerns, her response was rude and dismissive. She told me, “What am I supposed to do about it?” This was unprofessional and disrespectful. I’m a paying customer, and this behavior was unacceptable. The platter itself didn’t meet my expectations—the chicken was cold, the food seemed old, and it was drowned in sauce. I came here a month ago and had a completely different experience. The male staff member who served me back then was excellent. He grilled the meat fresh, asked about my preferences for sauce, and provided great customer service. Unfortunately, this time, luvpreet’s poor attitude and lack of professionalism ruined the experience. To make matters worse, the staff seemed to be playing games (like Ludo) at the counter, which is highly unprofessional.

I hope the management addresses this issue to improve the quality of service...

Where do I even begin.. I am specially so found of wraps so I thought paying a visit to this incredible place and the employees gave me a heartfelt welcome at their store.. They politely asked me what I would like to have and were so kind in their ways, for a beginner like me I didn’t have any kind of idea about how to place an order but they assisted me with it and explained me the various ingredients they put in the wrap and asked me if I was okay with them or not.. They even took care of the sanitation as after taking order the employe changed his gloves and put the right amount of veggies in my wrap. The freshly cut chicken was placed in the wrap and it was toasted for just the right time. It was served to me with gratitude and trust me it was so delicious I couldn’t hold myself back to order another one. The wrap so so flavoursome that I had to make it a point to recommend this place to my friends and to the people who live nearby this restaurant,, the food was worth for the amount I spent and the service provided was commendable. Hats off to the hardworking team members of this place as they put in a lot of effort to prepare your so they need your appreciation. I staunchly suggest everyone to pay a visit to this mesmerizing restaurant coz I firmly believe that your experience will be mind...

Don't even know where to start...from bad food all the way to the worst service I've experienced in any osmows. I ordered 2 lamb shawarma ozbox with one of the salads. I went home only to find chunks of inedible lettuce(the whites). My salad was 95% lettuce, no onions in sight, very minimal use of sauce on it that it was sooo dry. I called the store immediately thinking this would be a quick "hey my food was subpar, how can we resolve this..." Instead the person on the phone insisted "that's how it comes packaged ...it's not my fault"...."that's the amount of sauce we give everyone" I tried explaining that the salad had huuuge chunks of lettuce that was dry and other huge veggies as well. She said wait I'll get a manager, then guess what hang up! I called again and it was not picked! After a while i tried again and it went straight to voicemail! I couldnt believe it. At last I went back to store and after all that the two were exchanging looks as if mocking my concern. In the end they could only offer me one chicken on the rocks. not even a salad to make up for that!...
