Worst Pie Ever !!!! I purchased this 7 1/2 inch blueberry pie by Phipps at Pusateri's for $20 + tax. I have never eaten such a disgusting pie in my whole life. The crust and pie filling were so thick it was enough to choke you. There must have been a ton of pectin used. The pie was heated on a low heat so it would be just warm and served with Sheldon Creek organic whipped cream. There was little to no taste of blueberries. There should have been a little bit of blueberry liquid running after the pie was heated but it was just solid. I can make a better pie myself which really says something. I wanted to indulge in some guilty pleasures so I decided to give myself a treat at Phipps desserts, and then I discovered that it wasn't so guilty as I soon discovered that they use natural ingredients without preservatives or additives. I ordered two customized birthday cakes that were phenomenal. They were moist, tasty and the design of the cakes were very beautiful. We received a lot of compliments by patrons and the staff in the restaurant when we opened the cake box. I have never tasted such delicious cakes in my life.
