Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Toronto

I recently visited Pizza Nova, hoping for a great experience based on what I had heard, but unfortunately, it was a letdown in multiple ways.

First, let’s talk about the pizza. It was just okay, but definitely not what I expected. The crust lacked flavor, the toppings didn’t stand out, and overall, it felt very plain and underwhelming. I was expecting something fresh and full of taste, but it just didn’t deliver. It honestly felt like something I could have made at home with basic ingredients.

Now, the biggest issue—customer service. The guy at the front, a bald man, was extremely rude and unhelpful. He seemed uninterested in assisting customers, had a bad attitude, and didn’t bother making the experience pleasant. When I asked a simple question about the menu, he responded in a way that made me feel like I was bothering him. A little politeness and professionalism go a long way in the food industry, but clearly, that was lacking here.

Overall, this visit was disappointing from start to finish. When you go out to eat, you expect decent food and at least a welcoming atmosphere, but Pizza Nova failed on both fronts. With so many other great pizza places around, I don’t see any reason to come back here. Definitely not worth the...

Very disappointed, I’ve ordered from here lots of times but this will most likely be my last. I placed an order online, and it never gave me an estimated arrival time so I hopped in the shower to get ready for work. While in the shower I hear my phone going off like crazy, I see it’s the pizza guy so I pick it up. I said “can you please come upstairs I’m in the shower right now” he proceeds to tell me he can’t because that’s the rules. WHAT KIND OF RULE IS THAT? I ordered delivery so that it can get delivered to my door step. Anyways he was displaying a lot of ignorance on the phone saying I’m taking to long and that he’s about to leave. I said wait someone will come downstairs to my apartment building to get it. I wake up my boyfriend from his sleep to go get it and he wasn’t happy about it. This is your job to bring it up and bring to our door. I buy Uber eats every time and order pizza from everywhere and I don’t hear complaints saying they can’t bring it up to our door. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at this Pizza Nova in North York was beyond frustrating. First off, the food was terrible — the pizza was undercooked, the crust was soggy, and the toppings tasted like they had been sitting out all day. Even the cheese seemed low quality, which is surprising for a franchise that usually maintains decent standards. But the worst part? The owner. I had a polite complaint about the food, and instead of addressing it professionally, he got defensive and dismissive. No apology, no solution — just attitude. He acted like I was wasting his time and made it clear he didn’t care whether I came back or not. Terrible customer service and a poor reflection on the Pizza Nova brand.
