Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Toronto

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. First off i had to wait 30 MINUTES for my spicy chicken box, though people that came into to the store minutes after me who ordered way more food than me, got their food first. Second of all the hjabi cashier was being so disrespectful to me, when i QUIETY and POLITELY asked one of the workers what was taking so long, She began giving me attitude, i’m assuming her english is not well and there was miscommunication. When i finally got my food waiting( not eating it, waiting with it in my hand) for a friend to fill up her soft drink, the hjabi cashier with the glasses, told me dining was closed, mind you there was also a man who didn’t even order anything sitting at the table behind us, on his phone and she didn’t tell him anything. I told her” i will be leaving shortly, my friend is filling her drink up” she began to scream at me, i kept on trying to explain to her, but her she kept on screaming so i screamed back, and repeated the same thing so she can hear me. Then she tried to come from behind the counter and a worker held her back, i believe she was trying to intimidate or threaten me, the same worker who I asked how long my food was going to take was, was holding her. She was clearly in the wrong and made a fool of herself. Her behaviour was so unprofessional, even a random customer had to call her out for her behaviour. I am so disappointed, this was my first visit and will be my last. Popeyes needs to hire workers with respect and better...

If something less than one star for food I would prefer that. Around 11:52pm with lots of expectations and hope we went to popeyes this specific store . we were hungry because we were returning from work so we ordered shrimps as i was a fan(no more now) since i have known that brand. We ordered them, we received an uncooked shrimp for which we were so much disappointed and asked for refund he said he would cook and give another which was even worse not even cooked, when we asked him the attitude and behaviour from the employee was so disappointing that he started arguing and told us he is working here for 2years and has always cooked it for 2min which was even more disappointing because i know how a cooked one tastes, at the end he was like oh i think you do not want food so u people are making this for refund. After hearing this I personally felt so bad that i had so much of expectations and don't even get to eat anything and we also ordered fries oh please don’t even ask me about fries he told me that yeah I didn’t want to make a new one so i gave old ones. I understand closing shifts but such a great disappointment with food and service. will make sure not to visit to eat...

Do not go to this location if you are looking for good quality chicken, the workers are very nice but the quality of food is horrible, I have bought food at this popeyes several times and I have been disappointed every time, the portion sizes are way smaller compared to other popeyes locations and the food is served in smaller boxes. I ordered a 3 pcs tender combo today and it was shocking. Burnt breading and undercooked chicken, onion ring batter soaked in oil and over cooked, each and every tender tasted bad and really salty, and the box that the food was in was coated with dirty oil stains. It was not appetizing at all. I strongly recommend management to hire experienced workers, especially for the cooks, to help them learn the right way around fried chicken.
