Queen Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Toronto

I got a mocha coffee latte - good in taste and all but the only problem is - if I want an almond milk latte they charge a $1 extra, like hello???? My lactose intolerance is kicking in so like instead of enjoying your absolutely beautiful place let me go 💩 real quick. Also WHERE.

The 4 star is just because of the extra $ honestly - I’m just salty that way(cause I cannot be smooth as a cake - I’m lactose intolerant)

But the atmosphere in all was fantastic - so many tiny birds and squirrels in and around it’s honestly so peaceful. The service was a 3 star also because I kinda had to make sure she knew what I wanted exactly - not trying to be racist cause I’m literally brown myself - but there’s a bit of a language barrier with the barista here. So make sure you tell them to repeat the order again - to make sure you got it right. Cafe+Plants=Happy Me. It’s a place that has absolutely everything I want and need. Aesthetically beautiful, Staff are amazing, Ask Martin about anything plant and he will gladly part his knowledge. They deliver and he can plant it for you for a fee, it’s $80 to deliver in GTA. Love the plants that my local box store garden does not carry. The drip coffee is good and my fav corned beef cheese melts sandwich fit the bill this morning. My bill for Large drip coffee+Sandwich+Tip was $21.35, that was really good. There’s an out house that’s clean and does not smell like a public washroom. I came really early like an hour after the cafe opened and it was really serene. Love the plant shop and folks who work there. We got a plant from them last year as we moved to the city. The price was same as plant shops, maybe slightly higher. But all plants are selected to thrive in the local environment. We never had any outdoor plants before, so we asked a thousand questions, and the workers answered thoroughly and were super helpful. Our beautiful perennial came back stronger than last year with an amazing bloom. Just went back today to get a few more plants. Got excellent advice as always and went home with three more plants. Very excited to see them bloom this summer and grow even more...
