My family is extremely upset with the Islington location, Rajdhani. My family and I have been coming to Rajdhani since this location opened, and we have never experienced such a disgusting blunder. The service at Islington location has really gone down. My family went this evening to order some samosas and sweets. The counter girl said we have only the small samosas my family ordered $3.00 worth samosas. They waited for 15 minutes, and the counter girl said, " Mam, they are in the fryer." My family thought they would get hot, fresh, yummy samosas. Then the waitress came and gave us the brown bag of samosas and handed it to my family with the sweets we ordered. My family paid cash money, and the counter girl did not give a recpiet. When they came home, we were looking forward to hot fresh samosas, and when we opened the bag....all the samosas were cold and 3 of the samosas were burnt and broken, which is extremely gross which Nobody can eat. My family is so upset because no one can enjoy what is supposed to be hot and fresh samosas. Rajdhani is not a place anymore. TAKEN FOR GRANTED THAT FOOD WILL BE EATABLE. The counter girl should have simply said we don't have samosas at this time. Be honest.

NEVER BUYING AGAIN IN MY LIFE FROM THIS LOCATION. PATHETIC FOOD, EXTRA SALTY and extra sweet. Long story short, called them for a catering order of 18 and asked for moong dal halwa as desert. The quotation provided was very lucrative and made me go there to book my catering. When I went there I was told I had to pay more be because it was a premium desert option. When I asked them what changed between my call and visit, they had no answer. Asked them why it was not told I cannot order for 18 but only 20 on the call, they had no answer again. Consider their Manchurian like a sweet dish, extra sweet; Raita tasteless, dal makhni is lots of cream and salty AF...please check my video of the salad container they provided to me has a cockroach in it. I had to throw away the whole container and food just by seeing the cockroach in front of my guests. My Worst Canada Day family weekend got ruined because of their food. Will be following up with a formal complaint soon.

I’ve held off on writing a review for a long time, hoping things would improve—but after yet another frustrating experience, I cannot avoid writing this review any longer. The naans from this restaurant are consistently undercooked. This isn’t a one-time thing—it’s happened multiple times over several orders. Every single time, I’ve had to come home and finish cooking them myself on a pan just to make them edible. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering food from a restaurant. What’s even more concerning is that undercooked dough can actually make someone sick. It’s not just about taste or texture anymore—it’s a health concern. It’s disappointing that such a basic staple is being served this way repeatedly, with no signs of improvement or accountability. I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses it, because this level of carelessness is unacceptable.

I wish i could give them 0 rating due to their food and service by the staff. Yesterday, it was my cousin’s birthday and we decided not to go so far for food because of the bad weather outside and end up ordering at Rajdhani. I never ordered their main meal ever before just ordered apps which i like it. But yesterday they really made us feel bad in front of family and friends when we got the tandoori roti very hard and dry. We just got our food and reached home in 5-10 min and served the food right away and what we realized that the tandoori roti got dry and hard to eat. I had to call them when noboday was able to eat properly but everybody was starving so they ate the middle portion where they found is little soft rather then complaining. But the thing is we spent money on food that’s what it matters and when i called restaurant they told us to come and can replace with tawa rotis. We ended up going back again to the restaurant and showed then the tandoori rotis which we had ordered that how it get dry and the server was looking at us like we are begging for free food.. I don’t know why they don’t have any etiquette to show professionally when they serve customers that if anything happens with the order they have to take care of it because the customer pays for the food not getting free food anywhere. I wish the management can see this review and look into this matter also with the food and...

Rajdhaani Sweets at Islington is truly a gem for anyone who loves authentic Indian sweets and snacks. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm aroma of freshly prepared delicacies that instantly remind you of home.

Their mithai selection is outstanding—every piece tastes fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The rasmalai and gulab jamun are melt-in-your-mouth perfection, while the kaju katli and peda taste just as they should: rich, smooth, and made with care.

Apart from sweets, their savoury snacks and chaat are also excellent. The samosas are crisp and flavorful, and their chaat dishes burst with authentic street-style taste. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently high.

The staff is polite, friendly, and attentive, always willing to guide you through their wide variety of options. The shop is clean, well-organized, and has that festive, welcoming vibe that makes every visit enjoyable.

If you’re in the Islington area and craving authentic Indian sweets and snacks, Rajdhaani Sweets is the place to go. Highly...
