Rex's — Restaurant in Toronto

I came in on Sunday September 8th in the evening. The waitress was drunk and on drugs. I could tell because her pupils were dilated and she was incredibly obnoxious. When we asked what she would recommend since it was our first time at the restaurant she replied with oh idk I wouldn’t eat here if I were you there’s better places to eat. Then when I tried to ask her about the menu items since I have some food restrictions she looked at me and said girl idk what you want or talking about. Then she walked away. She came back to take our orders and I was the only one who wasn’t ready to order since she wasn’t being helpful and she still snatched my menu from me. Then when I grabbed another menu to look at she snatched that one too then walked away! I ended up leaving to get food elsewhere down the street. I will never eat here nor will I ever recommend anyone else does. I never got to eat the food but the service was AWFUL. if you find out who worked that night maybe fire her if you want...

100% worth every bite. Great customer service a shout out to Chantelle my server for beyond service with a smile and rose her go to girl I must say great atmosphere …and for Toronto the scenery is perfect. I’ve been to and Tasted a lot of burgers from a lot of different places this is a must go to if you’re gonna go anywhere in Toronto come here and get their ultimate burger, the bacon and the cheese makes it the real deal but the homemade burger is beyond perfection juicy and cooked to a t. The french fries, homemade crispy and seasoned. I don’t write that many reviews but this is sublime!!! so tourists or residents if you’re in Toronto or simply passing through, give this place a shot. Came to this place on a whim but was highly disappointed when I was informed by the server that my boyfriend and I could not order any mocktails because they were "saving the ingredients for cocktails only". She said we could order a pop or juice and that if we wanted food it would be a long wait so it was discouraged since the kitchen was "backed up". There were many seats open on the patio. No one actually had good on their table. And it was the only patio that didn't have an hour plus wait least. I see why now. Horrible service. How could you say you don't want to serve us something?
