Nestled in the heart of Etobicoke, Royal Bistro stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, offering an unforgettable dining experience that tantalizes the senses and leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted by an ambiance that effortlessly combines cozy charm with an air of sophistication.
Upon being seated, our journey through gastronomic bliss began with an appetizer of wings that set the tone for the exceptional meal to come. The wings were impeccably seasoned, boasting a perfect balance of crispy skin and tender, succulent meat. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving us eager for what was to follow.
The star attractions of the evening were the famed Steak and Egg and the delectable Salmon Benedict, both of which exceeded even the loftiest of expectations. The Steak and Egg dish was a masterclass in culinary craftsmanship, with the steak cooked to mouthwatering perfection and accompanied by eggs cooked to your preference, resulting in a harmonious marriage of flavors and textures that left us longing for more.
Equally impressive was the Salmon Benedict, a true revelation for the palate. The delicate richness of the smoked salmon perfectly complemented the velvety smoothness of the hollandaise sauce, all resting atop a fluffy bed of perfectly toasted English muffins. Each bite was a revelation, showcasing the chef's dedication to sourcing only the finest ingredients and executing each dish with precision and finesse.
However, it wasn't just the food that left us in awe; our server Lily played an integral role in ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We arrived around 11:45pm, the restaurant packed, but without a doubt her attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine passion for hospitality were evident from start to finish, elevating our meal from merely excellent to truly unforgettable. Their recommendations were spot-on, and their warm demeanor added an extra layer of warmth to an already inviting atmosphere.
Speaking of atmosphere, Royal Bistro's ambiance is one of its most enchanting qualities. The space exudes a cozy charm that invites you to linger, with its clean lines, attractive decor, and attention to detail creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and refined. In the past we've usually ordered through Uber Eats however we made the choice to dine in as a family member from overseas had come to visit.
In conclusion, dining at Royal Bistro was an experience that transcended the ordinary and left an indelible mark on our culinary memories. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine and charming ambiance, every aspect of our visit was nothing short of perfection. Royal Bistro has undoubtedly earned its place as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable dining experience. I will always highly recommend...
Read moreWell I can in for breakfast as I typically do since I have a two hour split working on the GO Train. The waitresses are always nice and helpful and the food is pretty decent on days I eat at Royal Bristo but was not the same standard I’m accustomed to. However, this morning everything was going well until I placed my order and requested if I could have the deep fried home fries come separately after I’m done eating my toast and omelette (which I have done the last few times with no issues) because I'm a slow eater and the fries gets cold after a while and I don’t eat it. Well today, it seemed to be a issue as I overheard one of the cooks murmuring something about me being a VIP because of my request. I jokingly told the waitress to tell the cook that I heard him and that I am VIP then He told her that he doesn’t care!!! Not that it matters to me but if you are going to be rude and insulting to the people that keep your doors open and help in paying your wages, you could have the decency to at least not let them hear you talking bad about them. Word to management, customer service is what differentiates businesses who share the same service and how that made me feel was very unbecoming of a thriving business. If you don’t have employees who “care” about what they say about your clients it reflects poorly on the business as they represent YOU! Sadly you have just lost a customer for life with no further recommendations to other colleagues, family or friends. Be encouraged and wishing Royal Bristo all...
Read moreWe used to come here before for brunch and it was good. The prices are cheaper compared to other brunch spots. We came for brunch today and we were extremely disappointed. Unfortunately it seems like there was a change in ownership/management. I ordered eggs benedict with a side of Greek salad I even showed them my choice on the menu... first of all the service was extremely slow, we waited quite a while for the order to arrive and when it did, she brought out something completely different from what I've ordered - some form of scrambled eggs. I said this is not what I ordered and I ordered eggs Benedict. Waitress replies "oh sorry, do you still want to eat this one? (The scrambled eggs)" I said no I wanted eggs Benedict... so they again took a very long time preparing my order...it seems like they put me back at the end of the line even though it was their mistake. When I finally got my order, the eggs were OK but the Greek salad was the weirdest Greek salad. It had no feta, had random green peppers and the lettuce was very not fresh. It tasted soggy and just very old.
It's disappointing how a perfectly good diner has been ruined with...
