2nd time UPDATE!! I wasn't really expecting to get the same service as the opening day (okay maybe I was) but it was even better. I went to that place on a -15 degree weather and the owner - without any question or asking, gave me a warm cup of lentil soup even before I ordered! (didnt even charge me for it).
I wanted to order the chicken shawarma again but owner insisted on beef which were actually steak meats. Grilled on spot, not from a rotator. I’d say it made the beef feel tender rather than dry. Owner made me try a slice of cooked beef by itself which I’d say tastes better in the shawarma with all the condiments that he puts. He made me an original style shawarma which I loved. The blend of the sauces, garnishes, beef and bread felt like a hug when bit into. Saj bread was only a 1$ more which was so worth it. Owner did not skim on beef. For me personally, the shawarma was too big to finish at once.

Read moreMy girlfriend and I were greeted with a warm smile from the friendly owner. We were just about to ask about a specific item on the menu when he already had brought out samples of their lentil soup to try. It was the perfect remedy for the cold winter day we were experiencing. That alone sold the experience for me which I will be getting lentil soup next time but then as he was preparing the food for us, he also brought out the beef samples for the both of us to try. He uses steak cutlets in his beef shawarma which tasted incredible. He was very personable and friendly. Incredible customer service from the most "unlikely looking" of places. The place is a normal-looking establishment but the people there have hearts of gold, love people, and make incredibly tasty food. The portion sizes were generous, the garlic sauce is better than an Osmow's or Shawarma Royale. Restaurant owners need...
Read moreFOOD The Shawarma was simply great. Surely one of the best in Toronto. Syrian style, just the way I like it. Had healthy amounts of the amazingly seasoned Shawarma chicken, a phenomenal garlic sauce, crispy fries, pickels, and greens. And I mean it when I say it was a tall wrap.
SERVICE All of the employees were extremely excited, and their energy was emanating. They gave us a sample of the Shawarma chicken while we waited and checked up on everything afterward as well. Very nice and friendly.
ATMOSPHERE At first, it looked a little cramped from the entrance, but there were a few tables inside. They have music playing, you can see your Shawarma being made. They will hype you up for your food.
P.S. They have a promotion going on currently for their Chicken Shawarma ($3.99) as part of their grand opening 13th -...
