The first time we walked past this place the day before, we went up to look at the menu on the window. The hostess came by and was super friendly and welcoming. She gave us menus to look at and asked if she could get us started. Unfortunately, we were just looking at that time, but she was still very kind and welcomed us back another time. Yesterday, we decided to go try this place for the first time and it was a DELICIOUS experience! It was different hostess from yesterday, but still the same wonderful, amazing, warm, friendly service! We ordered the Tikki Chat as an appetizer, the Lamb Rogan Josh with medium level of spicyness for main course, and two naans to dip into the curry and they were all SO SO good! Everything was made from scratch and tasted very fresh (including the naan bread)! We were very impressed. We especially enjoyed the appetizer and would highly recommend it. Prices were affordable and there is also a 15% off discount on takeout, dine-in, and delivery. Finally, we were SO incredibly grateful and reassured that this restaurant took amazing Covid precautions when we sat outside on their patio enjoying the warm summer day. The hostess wore a mask and everything was served on disposal containers and we used disposable cutlery so there is zero chance of reusing the same plates and cutlery that other people's saliva have been on. Overall, would come back again! Thank you for such a wonderful (and...

Have ordered from here (using Uber Eats) multiple times and had no issue - the food was excellent.

My most recent order was an utter disappointment. I ordered Chicken Pakora and Onion Bhaji - both regular orders - they typically come with a large portion size for their higher price point (12.99 & 8.99) on Uber Eats

I received my order and was presented with 5 pieces of Chicken Pakora, and 3 Onion Bhaji patties - normally the Onion Bhaji are balls of fried onion, these were no where near... and only 3.

I was very disappointed - I contacted Uber Eats about the insanely small portion size - $22.00 for 5 pieces of chicken and 3 onion patties.... their response was that it was up to the merchant to set the portion size and there was nothing they could do to help.

The images used on Uber Eats do not seem to represent (at least for this order) the portions you may receive - Not sure where the standard went - maybe it was an off night?

Very disappointing. (The butter chicken was still delicious so I can't completely knock them)

Updated to 1 star from 2 based on response... "always 6" but there wasn't 6 pieces in either, and the portion sizing was also much...

A nice quiet spot when you want to eat out but don't want to go somewhere loud and bustling.

We had a lovely meal here with a very friendly server. The food was quite nice, and I say that as a Punjabi guy dining at a predominantly Punjabi restaurant. The spices were definitely mild and more suited for a more Canadian taste, but still quite tasty and worth of a recommendation.

We had the channa masala, karahi Paneer, a butter naan, a lachha prantha, and a chaat papri. Ample food for two people and plenty to take home for the next day.

Couple of points for notice: the gulab jaman is described including the idea that it will be cooked with a bit of alcohol and then set on fire to burn the alcohol away. However, if upon reading that, you are expecting warm or even hot gulab jaman, you will be disappointed. They arrive sort of lukewarm. They are tasty, so I won't dock points cuz of it, but I was definitely expecting it to be a warm dessert to finish the meal.

Additionally, I probably would not order the cardamom tea again. I believe it is made in a machine and not made...

I typically don't write negative reviews since a lot of these joints are family owned that are just trying to make an honest living. But something has to be said about this, which i do not consider honest at all. Ordered the vegetarian thali worth $20 and here's what I got: 3-4 leaves of greens which was called a salad 2-3 tablespoons each of daal and kadhi Rice portion was decent One small pakora that was cut in half..... This honestly was the most insulting. Why cut a such a small pakora in half? I mean just give 2... they are tiny Finally, 3 tablespoons of raita I order indian food about 2-3 times a week from various local restaurants and have never felt such disappointment. $20 for this and I needed another sandwich after to fill up (I'm 70lbs)
