Shawarma Royal #1 — Restaurant in Toronto

My wife and I used to go there every other week to buy Iraqi bread from them. last Sunday we went there as usual and they were a little busy. my wife asked the bold guy (most likely the owner) if she “can get some fresh bread as we drove all the way from Milton for it” and his response was so shocking, he turns to one of his employees and tells her “give her some fresh bread, she came to us all the way from Najaf (in referral to a city known to hold the biggest cemetery in the world) then when my wife asked him why he’s being rude he starts shouting “don’t cause any trouble” 😶 I always thought the restaurant business was all about customer service, but I’m starting to think the owner of this place probably thinks that customers are the ones to SERVE him! Oh to be fair with this review, I think the food gets a 3/5, sanitary gets 2/5, frozen foods 2/5, bread 3/5 (just because it’s the only iraqi bread we could find that doesn’t taste sweet) otherwise the edges are actually super thick and sometimes not very well cooked. We left Iraq because of savages who don’t have manners, education and basic understanding of mutual respect, so going to a place that reminds us of all of that is NOT something we can afford to do and if u r like us I recommend u not...

Shawarma Royale gave me the most delicious King Shawarma wrap by far!! So glad they're within my area. A Must Try!

Update 5/11/23 This is my second order to date. It was 11AM, as they just opened for the day. I ordered the same as I had tried, KING CHICKEN SHAWARMA WRAP, again. I was so looking forward to this treat, I don't indulge in Delivery most of the time. The 1st half of the wrap was so delicious with warm moist tender chicken pieces.Once I passed the 2nd half,. I think I was getting the old dried up chicken from the day before,. It was old and hard and so tough it couldn't even be chewed & I spat it out. I called them, expressed my issue & he didn't even seem to be surprised. Offered me free order next time, but it was awful & I won't be willing to chance it again. BTW, Garlic sauce is awesome!
