I will never be coming back. I have never seen such poor customer service and basic hygiene. I walked in the restaurant and there’s no sign that indicated whether I seat myself or not, so I waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged by the waitress. The waitress was rude and rushing us to our seat while we tried to fill out the Covid contact tracing for our table. I was only asked for my proof of vaccination when the waitress actually saw us pulling it out. She even told us she didn’t have to see our ID. When we sat down at our seat it took forever for our order to be taken and our food to arrive. If it was busy I could totally understand but there was only my table and a few people sitting at the bar in the entire restaurant. I can see my waitress hugging and laughing with the men at the bar meanwhile I’ve been waiting 25 minutes for a drink. You can tell this place does not enforce masks as I’ve see many of the what seemed to be regulars just walking in maskless. The entire time I was there I did not see one person show their vaccine passport. The owner and all waitresses were continuously pulling down there masks, going out for cigarettes, and allowing their customers to walk around the restaurant maskless. Not only that, I seen the waitress clean off a table of dirty dishes and she went right to put the straw in my drink. Not even basic hand hygiene. First I would like to say that I have never received this amazing level of service ever in dealing with restaurants. I placed an order through Skipthedishes and when it arrived there were 2 out of 6 souvlaki skewers missing. I contacted Shoxs to let them know. They acknowledged their mistake, which many places I've dealt with didn't, and kept apologizing for it. All I was expecting was to receive the two skewers that I paid for since the 4 wouldn't have been enough for us. When I received the replacement, I was shocked for the lack of a better word. Not only did they send me the 2 skewers but they sent them in a whole new dinner combo! That isn't all. To make up for it, they also sent me a bottle of white wine! I couldn't believe it so I called the restaurant and told them that I don't expect more than what I paid for and that it wasn't necessary. Their response was that they had made an error and wanted to make up for it. Not only did they handle this situation with lots of professionalism but their food is also amazing. With all the lockdowns I've noticed that the price of take out has increased but their prices are very reasonable! I told my family about Shoxs and they asked me where it is located and that perhaps we should go eat there sometime. If I don't go there in person I will definitely order from them again many times. Stay with me as this is an outstanding review of a great place. As a retired veteran who's accompanied by a service dog I was unsurprised to be met with some level of impatience and hostility over the pup (who we wrote ahead and friends called the owner to inform them of) but honestly the mistake was recovered from quickly by them and they treated me extremely well after that. After the understanding way they fixed the situation, I can't imagine ever having issue there again. I commend them for their honesty and civility in correcting the matter. The food was fantastic, the server was out of this world as they were short staffed and she absolutely rocked it. I had the wings which were as good as I've ever had, and reasonably priced. And I had a fantastic burger too. My son had the veggie burger and he loved it. The energy in the dawg pound was unlike anything I've ever experienced at a sports bar. Cheering, and chanting made it feel like actually being at the game in person. As a first timer I got a browns backers tshirt and a warm welcome. A true football fans bar.
