Starbucks — Restaurant in Toronto

Sometimes the staff here is nice, but I recently had a frustrating experience. I placed a mobile order for a drink, but when I arrived, they hadn’t made it yet because they didn’t have the substitution I requested. That’s understandable, but I had to stand there for about five minutes with my empty cup before I could get anyone’s attention to ask about the substitution. When I finally did, the employee just said, “I know that’s your cup.” While I get that it can get busy, I didn’t appreciate the tone. OK, we both knew it was my cup, but I was still left waiting, while someone else with an empty cup was attended to right away. Staff here are incompetent and don’t understand simple English. I ordered Green Tea lemonade and repeated the order multiple times. The lady simple couldn’t hear the word “green tea” and keep asking me if I want venti, I said no I want grande. Then she went ahead and made a grande lemonade. When I got the order I corrected them and I said I wanted green lemonade not lemonade. She still couldn’t understand and made it seem like I don’t speak proper English. The manager also looked at me with a strange look without any apology. Made look like I am the one didn’t speak clearly for my order. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this location definitely deserves one. I’ve always loved Starbucks, but this last visit was disappointing. I waited over 15 minutes for my order, while several people who ordered after me got their drinks first. To make things worse, my drink didn’t have the syrup I asked for(and for what I paid)and the foam was too liquid, lacking the flavor I expected.
