Unprofessional and discourteous service received during an order pickup at this location. This is the second time I have had a negative experience at this particular store, both times (i was here few weeks ago for my subway bowl) due to a complete lack of basic customer service standards. Upon arriving for the pickup, I interacted with two female employees (of Indian ethnicity). During the wait time, one employee requested that I retrieve a Gatorade from the freezer. The request was made in a commanding tone, completely lacking any basic politeness such as "please" or a polite tone of voice. The situation worsened upon receiving the completed order. I asked the employee about the Gatorade mentioned earlier, only to be told it was for a different customer's order. When questioned about the confusion, the employee offered an entirely unacceptable and unprofessional defense, stating that "Uber people handover the drinks to me." This response is concerning on two fronts: It implies that a delivery driver is responsible for packing and verifying the internal components of the order, which is a core duty of the restaurant staff. It dismisses accountability and suggests that any miscommunication is the driver's responsibility. The employee’s overall demeanor, combined with this justification, demonstrated zero professionalism. Simple expressions like "sorry," "thank you," or "excuse me" were noticeably absent throughout the entire interaction. I felt the employee was highly dismissive and that their conduct was borderline harassing, possibly because I was present in the role of a delivery driver. The consistently poor customer service at this location regrettably stands in stark contrast to the high standards typically maintained by Subway. I strongly recommend immediate staff retraining focusing on basic customer courtesy, professional communication, and standard order fulfillment procedures for delivery services. I regret having chosen this location twice and will be avoiding it...
Read moreThe food and service is horrible. And the owner doesn’t care, he’s likely the reason why workers can’t get a simple sandwich correct. I ordered a 6” sub with extra green pepper, there was none. And there was practically nothing else on the sandwich either. How hard is it to get a sandwich right? Last time we ordered two breakfast sandwiches snd two coffees on the app. Yes there was coffee on the menu on the app, and it billed me for the coffees. Showed up at the store to pickup our order and was told we don’t serve coffee. I showed them my order and the 5.00 we were charged for coffees. She couldn’t give a refund cause we ordered thru the app, and said we’ve never served coffee here. Then why did you take my money? We have gotten much stricter about what we will and won’t tolerate from food service places. They increased their prices substantially, and reduced service and quality. We care about where our hard earned money goes. It won’t be going to this...
Read morecame in to pick up some sandwiches for lunch, and the girl at front was extremely rude and had an attitude problem. my brother ordered two sandwiches, and it was fine, and when my sandwich was made incorrectly (the girl who took my order misheard). and when i asked if the meatball sub was a suprimo, it didn’t feel like she understood/heard me because at this point i’m raising my voice at her. and when my brother spoke up for me, and asked the girl checking him out if the meatballs were the suprino, she began showing him attitude to the point where another customer in the restaurant spoke up and told him not to pay for it.
the lady didn’t offer an apology, but the one that served me did. though it was not her fault that she misheard, but the main issue is that staff should not be rude and show attitude to customers when the mistake came from their end. extremely disappointing and disrespectful. the subway at allen & sheppard is...
