It genuinely seems like the employee who was working here today on Feb 20 at 12:30am ish takes pleasure in making the sandwiches bad on purpose.
My partner went in to order two foot long sandwiches at around 12:30am. One pizza melt sub (toasted) and one meatball sub (also toasted).
When ordering the pizza sub melt, the employee asked if he wanted marinara on it, and he said yes because the pizza sub comes with marinara. I’m not sure why the sandwich was wet and cold when I opened it despite it being toasted. I’m also not sure why there was no marinara despite the employee specifically asked about it. It literally looks like marinara was put on and scraped off (photo). Couldn’t even tell there was cheese on it, there was barely any of the other toppings on it, plus It was flimsy and falling apart. It just tasted bad, and spending money on food for it to be bad and inedible is frustrating and upsetting.
(The meatball sub was also bad but we can’t get into that right now).
I wouldn’t normally do anything about it, but losing money like that in this economy is crazy. I called and explained how poorly made the pizza sub was and asked if it could be remade. The employee sounded very nonchalant and said they would remake it even though it was made in front of my partner. So, essentially, it felt like we were being blamed, but I guess my partner could have watched the employee make it and not just expect the person to make it properly??? So I thanked him, my partner went back and watched a new one get made, but when he left the employee laughed and said something under his breath.
When it was remade it was kind of better. It was toasted and had a normal amount of toppings, but still some parts had no marinara (just a marinara stain). And it too was inedible because so much salt and pepper was added that it was too salty to eat.
I’m sorry, after the laugh I’m supposed to believe that wasn’t intentional??? Especially because excessive salt and pepper wasn’t even an issue the first time.
Until now, I have never had a bad sandwich from subway. Very malicious customer service. And very sad that food has to be wasted because it was completely inedible.

On April 17, I ordered two footlong cold cut combo subs. When I got to work, I realized one of them had incorrect toppings and wasn't toasted. I called the store and spoke to a nice young man who sincerely apologized and told me he'd take down my name and make sure other staff knew that I could have "any sub" free of charge next time I was in.
I came back on April 19 and had the misfortune of encountering the owner. He tried to refuse the offer because I didn't keep the sub for two days and bring it back as proof. "A lot of people lie for free food," he said. After arguing with me off and on for five minutes while refusing to go look and see if the employee had left a note (I also offered to wait while called the guy), he finally demanded to see my receipt, which I had since I ordered through the app, and then began making my sub. I didn't take liberties by getting the most expensive offering, I just wanted the same sub made.
He was extremely cheap with the toppings, and ironically, despite me telling him twice and him seeing it on the receipt, he put the wrong kind of cheese. When I pointed this out (and said I'd eat it anyway) he argued with me, claiming I only said cheese and didn't specify shredded cheese. Which is untrue, but also, if you have multiple kinds of cheese, why wouldn't you ask for clarification if a customer does only say cheese?
Anyway, the owner is a rude cheapskate who actively escalates negative interactions and the only reason I don't hope his business fails is that the employees...
Read moreI am outraged with this store. I placed an order through uber eats. I understand that the order was through uber eats but I received the wrong order also with missing items. I called the store to see if I could arrange for the correct order. The person working there hung up the phone on me and refused to answer it when I called back. He pretty much messed up my order and had the audacity to hang up on me. As I looked at the reviews I am not surprised. I will never order from this store again when you have someone with no integrity preparing food, do you really want to eat from them? This store needs to look at the reviews because they are speaking volumes. Hire people with customer service skills and integrity. Making a mistake is understandable, it happens.
