The woman who claimed she owned the bar is not doing a very good job, actually she did a horrible job. The wings are the only thing that I enjoyed but the rest of the service was terrible. Sitting at the bar, on an expected busy night as a huge party was there, waiting to be served a drink for 5 minutes at least, 2 locals (I assume) come to sit beside me. They call the lady out, by name, and say hey 2 shots please. Instantly there are 2 shots sitting beside me. With my wallet in hand basically leaning over and yelling hey what about me, I get a response I'm only helping the bartenders. OK fine, "my" bartender eventually came over and served me after 10 minutes. My first complaint, terrible customer service on her behalf. As someone who works in customer service for years, you cannot ignore one customer for another preferred, especially to my face. Second complaint, completely understaffed. Took forever to get any drink the servers barely had time for the tables. Terrible experience as of yet.
Then a fight breaks out. No security to handle the situation, luckily there was enough sane people there to handle the situation as the "owner" claims she would shut the bar down because she cannot handle the situation. Third complaint, you NEED some sort of security especially as she knew there would be a significant party who can deal with a fight if it was to break out. Unfortunately it did, but it needs to be handled appropriately. Forth complaint, she threatened to "close the bar" with all those drunk folks. Even bigger security risk so to even consider that as an option is ruthless. No security, no police and about 100 drunk people standing outside in the parking lot usually doesn't end very good.
Last but not least, she couldn't contain the situation and when it was contained, both parties involved were allowed to settle down and continue their drinking in the bar. I'm pretty sure any bar that I've been to, those few that are fighting are not to be in the bar, let alone to continue drinking.... I don't condone kicking those out, especially as there we no security or police present to deal with anything further, but at least not be able to drink for a bit and usually if a bar can't deal with the situation their first resort is to kick them out.
Oh not to mention, her own staff had many complaints about her slow service too.
At the end of the day, her staff was great but she REALLY put a damper on the...

Read moreSomething has changed....we supported this restaurant a lot during Covid with take out and wanted to continue however our last experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered take out wings and large sweet potato fries. Upon getting home and opening the box of fries, realized what we had been given was HALF a box of SMALL fries. I called Tara and the person who answered the phone first stated that we had only ordered a small. I advised her we had ordered a large and was looking at the bill where we were charged $8.25 for the fries which was the charge for a large. She then said, Oh, ok, sorry......that was all. When I expressed my disappointment she quite abruptly said, well what do you want to do....come back and get more to which I replied yes.
We drove back, picked up the 'corrected order' and got home to find the exact same in the bag -- half a box of a small order (the picture makes the box look bigger than it actually was).
$8.25 is on the higher end for large fries compared with other establishments, however we were happy to pay this until we saw what we received (the attitude didn't add to the...
