What happened to the original owners? I ordered the classic beef with rice. What i got was a lackluster cashier who was also cooking thr food and the lackluster experience explained to me this person doesn't know what they are doing on that grill. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Beef was big chunks of ...what tasted like over salted beef briefly cooked. Over cooked rice. No trays to take your dish to sit down. The hot sauce was served to you in little packets and not once was I asked just how much teriyaki sauce I wanted on my food...she just slathered in on from her squeeze bottle. The food here is deplorable. The new owners should sell and move back from where they came from.

Went today and got 2 meals the shrimp ramen bowl and the spicy salmon sushi bowl. The shrimp ramen bowl was terrible it looked nothing like the picture didn’t have any of the same veggies and the broth tasted like warm water. The spicy salmon bowl had avocado that was not ripe and rock solid it had stuff like corn and carrots in it and those were not in the ingredients and the salmon was put on burning rice not like in the pictures so the salmon was half cooked. This was an expensive meal and was terrible. I should have listened to other reviews and stayed away. Even the website contact us spot doesn’t work.

This was disgusting... Rice was under, chicken was dry and the lady clearly didn't care when making my plate. She drenched it in sauce when I asked for light sauce, it looked like someone vomited on my dish. NEVER will I order from here again. Go to the one on York Mills and Don mills. They have great service and food. Especially compared to this TRASH...

My wife and I got the signature Chicken and a Beef Create your own bowl. Probably the worst teriyaki i have ever had.

There was barely any meat. In terms of them cooking the meat, they only used water and no seasoning or marinade to cook with. It was literally eating plain chicken/beef.

They use squirt bottles for their teriyaki sauce. Not sure if this is standard, but most of the teriyaki fast food restaurants i have been to have used sauce from a warmer and poured it on with a ladle. Using a squirt bottle would be fine if not for point number 3 (see below).

Teriyaki sauce was extremely sour and bitter. With each bite, i felt like i needed to drink some water. It was quite disgusting to be quite frank. Probably turned me off from teriyaki for a long time

Overall meal was not good yet very expensive. The signature is about $12.99 +tax while the create your own is $11.99 ish. Nothing about the meal was good. My wife is legitimately concerned that she will get sick from her meal as the vegetables and meat tasted 'off'.

In Conclusion: you can probably get a much better teriyaki experience elsewhere. There are a lot of other fast food establishments in the area whereby you will probably a better quality of food. I am hoping that they can improve the quality of their food; unfortunately i do not anticipate coming back to see if they...

I used to love getting Teriyaki when I was younger. It was my favorite take out Asian cuisine. Things have changed since then: the portions became smaller, the price increased and the quality of the food poorer.

I went to this location today and asked for shrimp and rice, to go. I had to repeat myself like three times that I wanted SHRIMP, not chicken. I hadn't been paying attention when they were making my food. When I arrived home to eat it, I find that it's chicken, with barely any vegetables and one sad looking broccoli.

The lady working there also did not know how to work the cash register. I'll cut her a little slack, she mightve been new. But regardless, my experience there has been poorer and poorer with each visit. Such a shame, and tbh I'm a little embarrassed to be writing a bad review, but...

I was debating on writing this place a review or not and thought there’s no way I can’t. This location use to be so good and after not coming for a few months I decided to go here today and was so disappointed in the food quality! It’s just not the same anymore. Use to be so good when the Asian couple worked here. Now there’s a new lady and she’s literally the only person working. I ordered chicken teriyaki on rice with four dumplings on the side. When I left I noticed she forgot to give me the dumplings so I had to drive back, on top of that I basically got plain chicken and rice which normally with this food you would get veggies like broccoli, mushrooms, etc. Didn’t come with it. Also the amount was very little and not stacked like usual. Won’t be returning to this...
