It’s a Walmart.. was my first thought since I started going to this location 4 months ago. Not good, not bad. Until September 29, 2022 I had went shopping for a few (3) household items; spending over $100. As I am leaving the Walmart I am stopped by the person who asks for your receipt (an old man who seemed to be of Indian decent.) Mind you, no bells or alarms had went off and he practically waited until I was out of the store. He calls to me and I stop. He asks for my receipt and I go to grab it to later find that my son had gotten to it so at that time I did not have the receipt to show. He points to a box under my childs stroller (a blender) he reaches for it and takes it out of the bottom of the stroller and simply walks off with it. I stand there dumbfounded looking after him in disbelief. I ask him “so you’re just going to walk off with it?” And he replied “yeah, if you want to come pay for it, then come pay for it” still in disbelief I show him everything else in my cart.. a 120in curtain rod that was located in the same place he had just taken the blender from and a very large clothes drying rack that I was holding in my hands.. and I said “this is in the cart too” (point to the curtain rod) and I tell him “I’m carrying this” (lifting my arm with the drying rack in it) and I ask him “but you assume the blender is what I didn’t pay for?” He says again “if you want to come pay for it, you can come pay for it” so I ask him “it’s because i’m black, is t it?” He replies “no, black white same thing” and I say to him “I just spent $113 you’re going to give that back to me” in utter disbelief that this was happening. After a few minute stand off he drops the blender back in my stroller saying “fine, take it, take it” and we walked out of the store.
This is an example of racial profiling at its finest. Understanding that with the receipt everything would’ve been handled faster but if the man actually thought we had stolen our products he would’ve taken everything out of our cart to investigate if we had stolen it. Not just one item of his choosing deeming that it was stolen. Also, if had thought we’d actually stolen the blender he wouldn’t have given it back to us, just like that.
I had more things I was going to come back to buy as I did not have space to travel them back to my apartment but I was so emotional about what happened that I had to get the items delivered to my home. I haven’t been back since.
Fast forward to October 3, 2022.
I have called Walmart customer service 7 times being on hold for almost an hour just for the employees to answer the phone to hang up right way. The phone was answered by someone 1 out of the 7 times I called but they hung up after not getting a reply for 1 second. (I was trying to pick up my phone as I was doing something else at the moment) I can understand work can get busy but what needs to be understood as well is a job needs to be done and that includes answering the phones. If it’s too busy, request help. Not everybody can make it to the store in person. Please answer the phone and don’t be so quick to hang up.
Will consider going to a...

BIG MISTAKE!!!!
I am so mad at Walmarts leadership at this location. If I could give a negative star I would, 1 star it is way more than this location deserves.
The return line it was long, 11 people ahead of me but that normally would not be an issue, however today it turned into a nightmare. Why? Because it was only 1 person working at the return items station. Before I went to sit on the return items line, I walked towards the clerks desk and asked a question so I would know if I should or should not go and wait in line.
It looked to me that the lady clerk was overwhelmed it was clearly in her eyes and looked like she was on the brink of starting to cry. She answered nicely to me and I was on my way to wait in line.
While waiting, I thought that it was not possible that Walmart would only have one person at the return desk especially during the last days before Christmas not counting the other faiths celebrations that happen now too.
I got out of line and stepped towards a lady (I wish I would remember her name) that looked to be somewhere on a higher position (usually whomever is in charge of a lot of keys is in a higher position) within the organization than the rest of the employees, and I asked her if possible to add another customer service person at the desk. She walked by fast, mumbled something and dissapeared.
Well I was right about the clerk at the return items desk, within 5-7 min she left and she did not returned living a customer at the desk looking puzzled. After about 5 minutes another person arrived at the return desk and started dealing with customers.
While I was in line waiting for my turn, I looked for the store phone number and called wanting to speak to a supervisor, store manager anyone that can address the issue that myself and so many in line before and after me were facing.
The phone rang several times, finally somebody answered saying "Hang on" and placed me on hold! That way of answering was unprofessional, I know because I've been working in customer service for 24 years.
That tells me that even the people handling calls were short on staff and overwhelmed. I was on hold for 23 min & 41 seconds see picture) and had no opportunity to speak with someone.
I was in the return line for a total of 52 minutes! Lucky me, just when I was the next in line to return my item, another person arrived at the return items desk.
Walmart has the nerve to make us use the self check stations for the shopped goods so they can cut costs and bank more money when the rest of us struggle. If you as organization do this why not set up self check return item stations as well?
Walmart you think that you are more important than us? We people, your customers, our time is important as well.
Remember that without us purchasing in your stores you are nothing. Respect should go both ways.
I am sorry for people working at Walmart that are not treatead as they should so we the shoppers could get the service quality we deserve.
I will no longer go to...
Read moreOn August 16, 2024, I visited the establishment and proceeded to locate an item in the South Asian aisle. While navigating the aisle, I encountered an unpleasant odor reminiscent of canine feces. The intensity of the smell was quite overwhelming. It has come to my attention that this particular location permits customers to enter the premises with their dogs, some of which may not qualify as service animals. This experience was rather unpleasant and detracted from the overall shopping experience.
There are absolutely no carts in the store by the entrance. That's because they are all outside and nobody is getting them to bring them in the store. Also, when they do bring them in, the carts are faced the other and its very difficult to put in a quarter to pull out the cart. Photo attached. Walmart allows dogs in their store? Clearly that dog is not a service dog. Unbelievable!!!
Visited this store again on April 16, 2023 at 9 am and I can not believe what I saw. Bananas were dumped on the table. Also at the self check out where you find chocolates, gums, and other small nick nack items, the shelves were a mess with all kinds items. I can't believe the shelves were a mess early in the morning where there aren't too many shoppers yet. I can understand if it was late afternoon or in the evening, but it was early morning. Can this location make it any harder for customers to put in a quarter in the cart and pull it out? Th See for yourself. I have attached photos. No carts again in the store May 29, 2023. They only open one side of the register in the self serve checkout. According to staff they are only allowed to open 3 registers per associate to reduce theft. But ever since they have done this, the line up to checkout is painfully long even though the store is not even busy. Walmart has made this possible on account of customers waiting longer in line to checkout. I have added 2 photos where you can see carts are being pushed through the front entrance. Last Friday, April 5th while I was standing inside the front entrance talking to a friend, I was hit by those carts. It's a good thing I had my shopping bags on the side of my body. I was startled and I asked why they are pushing those carts through the front entrance. The guy said I told you to move. Obviously I didn't hear him because I was talking to someone. The guy pushing through those carts back told me to go and complain to the manager. Very rude and impolite. I went back in and complained to the CSM. He said he will talk to him. I also told Gladys about it and she said that she will talk to the guy. After that incident at around 7 PM, I still see them pushing those carts through the front doors. There's a big door to the side of the entrance where they could put those carts back. Is Walmart waiting for someone to really get hurt when they use those front doors to put back the carts? There's a lot of kids that come in with their parents to the store. Thankfully I was not hurt. But perhaps next time the someone will get hurt. A child or an elderly...
