I had the worst experience at The Momo Station, and it left me utterly disappointed. I ordered food through UberEats but had to cancel within the time limit due to unforeseen circumstances. Despite this, I was charged for the food. When I went to the restaurant to explain and request my order, the staff refused to give it to me. They were extremely rude and dismissive, showing absolutely no understanding or willingness to help. The level of hostility I encountered was shocking; they made me feel like I was the one in the wrong for following proper procedure. This is by far the most unprofessional and unfriendly treatment I’ve ever received in the restaurant industry. It’s unacceptable to treat customers this way, especially when the mistake wasn’t mine. I would never recommend The Momo Station to anyone and will certainly never return. If you value good service and respect, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY

I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my review. However, I find your comments about my intentions both inappropriate and unfounded. As a Level 7 Google reviewer, my reviews are based on genuine experiences, aimed at helping others make informed decisions.

Accusing me of attempting to get free food is not only incorrect but also a violation of Google's policies on personal attacks. I urge you to reconsider your remarks and remove them immediately. Failure to do so may result in further actions, including legal recourse, as defamation is a...

Go here. Eat momos. Feel good.

That’s it. That’s the review.

This little Scarborough takeaway packs a ton of flavour in the best way possible. This is one of those spots that I had walked into randomly as they were the new guys in town and I had to of course try the momos since they’re in the restaurant’s namesake. The establishment looks family run and you can tell by their friendly service and confidence in recommending items that they’re very deservedly proud of the food they serve. I’ve ordered the steamed, teriyaki, kothe, and the highly recommended Momo 65s to get an idea of their offerings. I will say that the basic steamed momos are my favourite thus far not to take away from any of the others. I also had a pink Kasmiri Pink Chai which I will highly recommend.

My only criticisms of the restaurant are that I wish there was a more “dine-in friendly” layout as there are chairs there but it’s not exactly set up to eat in-house; the chai I ordered was absolutely delicious and something I think people would appreciate while sitting and eating their food fresh from the kitchen. Also, some of the sauces may come off as overpowering, in the case of the Momo 65 the spice level was great however it was a little too salty for my personal taste.

Overall Momo Station is a place well worth the visit for an affordable dinner and a friendly customer experience. Looking forward to eating many more momos from...

Mono Station is a hidden gem run by Nepalese owners, and it offers an incredibly authentic dining experience. We had the pleasure of trying their steamed chicken Momos and Szechwan fried rice, and the flavors transported us straight to Nepal. The fried rice had such vibrant colors, especially the scary red hue, but the taste was nothing short of perfection. The cozy restaurant has a limited number of tables inside, creating an intimate atmosphere. The only downside we encountered was the somewhat inefficient operation, especially during busy times, which resulted in longer wait times. However, the delicious food makes it well worth the wait. Mono station is a must-visit for anyone seeking true Nepalese cuisine and an unforgettable dining experience.

2025-June-01 EDIT: Updating my review from 4 stars to 1 star. Been an on and off regular here since I tried the first time. This was my goto place when I crave momos or fried rice. I recently got fried rice and momos here and was surprisingly disappointed. Veg Momos - what used to be juicy paneer filled momos before has now turned into cabbage filled bland momos. They now use a different unusual rice variety for their fried rice which throws off the flavors and I disliked that as well. What used to be passionate flavorful food has now turned into bland regular take out food. Definitely not...
