I was sitting in the passenger seat with my mother in law driving her car, and we were ordering in the drive thru. I was trying to tell her what the family wanted to order, and the guy (who later claimed to be the manager, Michael) was being impatient (because there were a couple pauses where I'm trying to tell her an order and she repeats it to him) and asked during a pause if that was everything. My mother in law has a bit of a language barrier, and thought he had asked if there was anything else (to order), and she said yes, and so he told her to drive through. She told him sorry, I'm not done ordering, and he said with attitude 'well you said yes when I asked you if you were done, but ok, what do want to order?' And she was shocked and gave the last order and we drive through. At the window she tells the girl that the guy on the speaker was being very rude. Michael comes over and him and the girl at the window began to say 'well you said yes when we asked if you were done, so you are in the wrong' and they start laughing at my mother in law. So she said the she will make a complaint and Michael yells 'go ahead and make a complaint, my name is Michael, I'm the manager' and they all keep laughing and shut the drive thru window. I have worked as a barista for 6 years and was a manager for 3 of those years and I'm so surprised to see such poor customer service from Tim Hortons employees, let alone a manager. It was a matter of just a simple miscommunication, and could have gone a lot better if they hadn't been completely rude and given attitude. Regardless of whether a customer is 'right or wrong' it's just completely inappropriate to deal with a situation with attitude, especially when the customer is not trying to be mean or rude, and made a simple mistake. Having the manager be on a power trip stating he is the manager go ahead and complain, and laughing with his employees sets a very...

On Sunday, June 3, 2024, my parents, daughter, grandson, and I visited the Tim Hortons at 2029 Jane Street in North York. We were looking forward to a relaxing end to our day, but what transpired was nothing short of a nightmare. I placed our order at approximately 9:50 PM, not realizing the location closed at 10 PM. We ordered four pizzas, three Timbits, one hot chocolate, three small coffees, and chili. No one mentioned the imminent closing time. As soon as we sat down to eat, a female employee announced they are closed now and the employee said we had to leave. I politely asked why they didn’t inform us of the closing time when we ordered and requested an additional 10 minutes to finish our meal. My parents are 86 years old and my grandson is just five. The female employee standing behind my grandson and daughter, telling us to leave by yelling mocking manner. The employee reached over my grandson and daughter’s shoulders, grabbed the two untouched boxes of pizza, and threw them into the garbage. She then threatened us, asking, “What’s next? What else should I throw?” She grabbed my untouched coffee and threw it on the floor. I told her I wouldn’t leave without a refund or replacement food. Her behavior grew more frightening as she yelled that she wouldn’t give me my money or food back. She walked to the main door, continued yelling hysterically, and demanded we leave. Another female employee, the cashier, tried to calm her down but was rudely told to mind her business. I asked to speak to the manager or supervisor, only to be told this aggressive woman was the supervisor. I was dumbfounded that someone in her position would bully and...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at Tim Hortons (Falstaff and Jane Intersection). I recently visited this Tim Hortons location and encountered the worst customer service.
I stood at the counter for a couple of minutes with a child, but the lady standing there didn't acknowledge me. When I asked who was attending to customers, she said she was on break with a terrible attitude. I told her that you should have at least acknowledged us standing here and she began saying inappropriate things. I told her not to speak to me that way. Imagine talking to a customer like that! Another lady came out with a bad look on her face, and was also talking, and went in with the First Lady. A guy eventually came to attend to me. When I asked for the supervisor, he said it was the same lady who claimed she was on break.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service from the two ladies I encountered. They treated me like I was begging for food. I'm spending my hard-earned money, and all I got was terrible service!
I've experienced poor service at different Tim Hortons locations, but this was the worst. I'm sharing this experience with others, and they all agree that Tim Hortons' customer service is subpar. I'm done with Tim Hortons. How is the lady a supervisor still surprises me with a bad...
