This was my first time coming here and I love it! I didn’t order much because I just wanted something cold to drink on a hot summer day. The staff is super friendly and felt like I was treated as family. I ordered a honeydew bubble tea with tapioca, and my sister-in-law ordered their Halo-Halo. As a Filipina myself, I’m not a fan of halo-halo lol. But, I tried their halo-halo and I actually like it. My sister-in-law absolutely loves it! As for my bubble tea, it was pretty good too! I love that it is slushy as well! There’s only 1 or 2 tables inside to sit but we sat outside since there were a bit more tables outsides than inside. The indoor decor is super cute with a display of different coloured tea pots. I definitely recommend this place if you are passing by through Greektown! And I definitely want to come back and maybe try their desserts and food! I will bring my husband next time because he is a HUGE halo-halo fan!

January 31st 2025 at 11:30am - It was a surprise visit to this tea shop for our daughter since she’s never tried halo halo. This was a favourite dessert of mine from the Philippines and I wanted her to try for the first time. We’ve never been to this shop/resto so was pleasantly surprised that there was seating available for a Friday afternoon around lunchtime. The wait for the halo halo was long but expected (if you know you know). Since I knew it was going to take time, daughter had also never tried funnel cake so I ordered that too. Both orders did not disappoint! Very nostalgic to say the least…sigh….to be young again without a care in the world enjoying halo halo in the heat of back home. Let’s just say we didn’t have any leftovers! Lovely elderly couple behind the counter. Will be coming back to try other items on the menu. A highly recommended spot on the Danforth!

Been here a few times now and have always been impressed with what I've ordered and with the service received. There really is something for everyone here. I wanted something warm, parents wanted something cold and fiance wanted something in between. The portions were more than decent! My bowl of soup was filled to the brim and my parents' halo halo was served in a big bowl for easy sharing. I couldn't believe how much ice cream came with the affogato. We were already full but demolished it cause it was so good. I plan to try their meals one day; the table next to us ordered food and the bowls looked huge. I will always support Filipino businesses but I try to be objective too. This place deserves all the business. If given the choice for tea, dessert, etc I will hands down opt to go here, just on value for money alone.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR BUBBLE TEA THERE ARE LITERAL HEALTH HAZARDS! I normally get bubble tea from other places but was in the area and thought I'd stop by. First of all the guy at the counter ignored me for 3 minutes before finally acknowledging me. Then I went to order and he didnt give me any of my change, he simply told me to go wait over somewhere. I later asked them about this again and they said they had given me my change but I know they didnt (which would have been about 5 dollars). Besides that I was watching them make the bubble tea and it disgusted me. They did not have on gloves yet while they were pouring in some of the syrups it would run over their hand before going straight into the cup! They also messed up the peoples orders in front of me. Finally after waiting for about 15 minutes even though there were only 2 people in front of me I got my drink and it was TERRIBLE. I LITERALLY THREW IT OUT AS SOON AS I LEFT THE STORE. The tapioca balls were all desinigrated and flat like they had been over soaked and the smoothie was slimey and they put the syrup from the tapioca beads in with the smoothie which meant I was just drinking sugar water threw my straw! do not recommend would give zero...

I really want to like this place but maybe I go at the wrong time, usually Saturdays around noon. Don't get me wrong, the food and drinks are delicious. I love the chicken mami, lumpia and pancit although I found the bistek to be too salty. I also like the coconut oolong and the roasted brown rice lattes and their yema cakes are so good. However, each time I order from them, mistakes happen. My first visit I ordered a latte with oat milk. As I near the bottom of my cup I discovered small white clumps. First time I ordered food and drinks in person, they forgot tapioca in one drink and put regular milk instead of oat in another. This order took 45 minutes. Another time I went, they forgot the shrimp in the chicken & shrimp pancit. This order took 40 minutes. On a side note, while waiting for my order one time, a couple took their half eaten ube yema cake back because they found a hair in it! I didn't stick around to find out what happened but so far I haven't had any problems with...
