I called early in the day to reserve a cake for a friends birthday party since I had heard good things about this shop. It was incredibly disappointing to have driven 45 minutes to find out that they had “lost” the cake that I had reserved. What’s worse is that they charged me for the cake before confirming they didn’t have it. They refunded me the money - in cash and in coins when I had paid by card. Given it was Saturday at 6pm it was impossible to find a quality cake in time for the birthday surprise. Such a disappointment and let down. First time visiting their store after hearing so many good things about this place and I can honestly say that I’m very impressed! We got the 4” strawberry cake and the cheese cake. Both tased great, but I think what really made my experience was their customer service. I think the girl’s name was Kiana, she was so very helpful and professional. Despite them having a line and getting constant calls, she was multitasking like a boss and still managed to face us with a smile and with upmost enthusiasm! I ordered a cake through UberEats, and unfortunately, it was delivered with unevenly cut layers, haphazardly stacked with cream. The plastic packaging on the outside couldn't withstand the cake's weight and was torn from the moment I received it. I wanted to celebrate my friend's birthday with this cute cake and even inserted candles, but the cake kept collapsing. It feels like I ruined my friend's birthday.
