It pains me to share this, but we recently had a similar experience to some of the other reviews here. For a $15 sandwich it was on the small side. It was supposed to be a roasted chicken sandwich, but I would describe it more as chicken salad. It had the consistency of tuna salad (quite mushy and blended consistency). The amount of mayo could easily be cut by 30% or more and the chicken kept more chunky would be really nice. Unfortunately we also encountered several bones while we were eating the sandwich which was a real turn off. If they had an extensive menu, I probably would be back but unfortunately, I could only see four sandwich options and one of them was vegetarian. Really nice staff and service. Costs was between $40-50 for 2 chicken sandwiches, a pop, a water, and 2 bags of chips.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! The Bredgy stamp of approval is returning to eat for a second time, starting with an inventive panzerotti in a sandwich form, with a gooey cheese pull that is contrasted with a tangy tomato sauce, crisp Caesar salad, fluffy sesame bun, and savory beef salami (for you halal folks). The deli chicken salad brings a richer and creamy flavour profile, Where moist pieces of chicken are shredded and mixed with a fulfilling mayo and dijon mix. The sprouts and arugula bring a touch of bitterness and a crisp freshness, and the pickles bring a mild kick of brininess to balance the mayo, with an extra quarter of a pickle served on the side too.

On a food tour, Vilda's became my an unexpected second stop after Badiali's. First impressions, cute and dainty andmight miss it because of the small signboard. Lady was super nice and correctly pronounced my name, a rare occurrence. I got the veggie which was the mushroom the day of my visit. The bread was very good, but felt dry by the time I finished the sando. The flavour were good and the pickle helped a lot. They have an area beside the restaurant where you can sit and eat at as there's no seats inside. There are shelves of the regular hipster provisions and a large variety of drinks to choose from. I am really interested to try the brekkie sandwich next time.

Don't mind the haters. Lambos is near by, but are just Instagram friendly... if you're looking for comparables. Im not hating on lambos, but it's a generic take on a new york style bodega sandwich, not really much too it. Vildas is a great take on the elevated cuisine Montreal bakeries and sandwich shops have to offer, and are quite an addition to the food scene in Toronto. This sandwich shop is fairly priced and quite frankly the best sandwiches you will find in the city. The owner is really friendly, the staff are quite helpful if you're not a di@k head. If anyone is hating on this gem Toronto has to offer its because they are entitled douchecannoes. Honestly, don't take my word on it, please try these beautifully crafted sandwiches and soft serve yourself, trust me, you will be...

Two stars off for lack of customer service and value.

Local spot with a decent selection of sandwiches and soups, but I wouldn't travel across the city for it.

I live around the corner so I took advantage of the order ahead function on their website as there is sometimes a line and showed up at the indicated pick-up time. I waited inside and by the time one of the staff was free to assist, two other people had come in to order and she answered their questions before turning to me. Probably would have been better if I just ordered in the store since I had to wait anyway and was also ignored.

My asparagus sandwich was good, however it was quite small for $15 and the over usage of lemon juice and Parm over powered the taste of...
