I have been getting my brows shaped for years in port credit, but haven’t lived in the area for over a year now. I finally decided to bite the bullet and try somewhere downtown so I wouldn’t have to travel for an hour to get my brows done — and boy do I regret it now! My brows were grown out and thick, but as I’m East Asian they’re always a little sparse. I booked just an eyebrow shape at 48 dollars which is expensive but I figured Toronto prices are more…my technician was very friendly and lovely and she suggested I get a tint as well to help fill out the brows and I said ok. She then threaded my brows (without mapping) and then mapped the brows and painted on the tint. It looked kinda nuts but it was my first time getting a tint so I wanted to trust the process. When it was done I didn’t love the way they looked at all but I thought I’d just need to get used to it. When I paid the tint plus shaping came to almost 80 dollars (!!!) and then I tipped which brought it to 90. That is way too much money for brows IMO. Anyway they have since settled and without the tint you can see they are so uneven. My left brow has had too much hair removed from the bottom of it so it looks like it’s permanently higher than the right. And too much was taken from the inside and in an unnatural blocky way. I’m very unhappy with my results. I’ll have to use serum and hope the hair grows back. But I will absolutely be driving back to my usual brow place again from now on where they cost half the price and always do an excellent job. I’m giving two stars simply because the girl who did my brows was so nice. But yikes my brows are a freaking mess and I don’t wish this on any other girlies out there. I attached two pictures for you ladies to see. Picture one my brows immediately after the shape and tint, picture two is my brows with no tint left and shaped...
Read moreI don't normally comment on reviews, but I think I have to... So I've been trying different brow bars over the past year to fix my eyebrow shape, and I had such high hopes for this one since it was one of the more high-end and expensive options ($40!!!). First of all, if I wanted to pay to get my eyebrows cleaned up I would have chosen a cheaper salon because when I walked out of my appointment, that's literally all they did to my eyebrows. Sure they use tweezers to make sure it's accurate (no wax or threading), but what's the point when you give my eyebrows no shape when I specifically told the stylist I wanted my eyebrow shape back. Also, I informed the stylist that I wanted my eyebrows shaped so I don't have to fill them in in the morning ... but now I'm spending a good 15 - 20 minutes fixing them! I'm just so frustrated cause that place wasn't cheap and I didn't expect to get these results, especially when I went in there thinking I was getting my instagram level eyebrows back. On a positive note, the staff were kind to me and I appreciate their effort...
Read moreYou know what's funny, I been coming to this place for 4 years and I was curious to see the reviews when i was making a booking.. it really is so ridiculous that people who give 1 star expect so much ... this is not the four seasons spa .. all it matters is that do they go a good job and people keep coming back .. everytime I go they are fully booked and they do an amazing job, like no other ... so you're not here for a therapy session, it's 15 mins in and out .. so would you rather have chatty Cathy that does an OK job down the street, or a really good job here .. yes for sure they are not the most friendly, but I could care less about their so called "Stuck up" attitude just as long as they do a good job .. that's all it matters ... and if you look into who's giving these 1 star reviews, its all people who are negative Nancy's who complain who thinks the world owes it to them ... and dont even get me started on the pricing, if you want your brows done cheap, go to the mall, they can thread it for 10 dollars ... knock...
