Just went there at around 10:10pm September 5, 2024, there was the big white girl working. Told her my order and I was asking for the total at the speaker. (Also I was asking for a red fruitopia drink, she said there was nun, I asked her what drinks she had and she said apple and orange juice… I asked if that’s the only drink she has and she says “Well we have Coke drinks”) With an attitude she tells me to come to the second window without tell me the total. I asked her if she could tell me the total before the second window because I had a coupon(spend $25 get $5 off) and I wanted to make sure it didn’t go over the amount. I asked her if I go to the second window can I still add to the order and she said yes.
Went to the window and I asked the total she said $27 I gave her the barcode to scan and asked her if it took the $5 off she said it took $3 off(I also had 250 points that I redeemed for an item). I asked her why when it should be $5 she tells me the order was $24 I then ask her to put another jbc because I didn’t want to spend over the $20 cash I had. She tells me I can’t use the barcode again she’s going to have to do another order. I gave her the money and put the $4 on my card. I told her to have a good night when I left just hoping she didn’t tamper with my food, because honestly she looks like she would.
Let me add this. I was very nice to this lady from the first interaction because I too have worked in the service industry and I know how exhausting it can be. So I always make sure I’m extra nice to a worker for that reason and also because I’ve heard stories of fast food workers doing horrible things to rude people’s meals.

Read moreTwo times I have visited this location and two times I have been disappointed. On my first visit I was unable to redeem an offer through my mobile device because the application said the store was not available, but I was waiting inside the location and it was clearly open. Not that big of a deal and probably can be attributed to a glitch in the app.
Second visit just showed how poorly this location is dealing with the COVID crisis. I placed a mobile order when I arrived at the store but then I found the building entrance to be locked. So myself along with three others that had placed a mobile order had to wait in the drive thru, which had a long line. Communication from the workers was horrible in regards to telling me where and how I can get my order. The worst part was that I had to wait 20 minutes for my order outside the drive thru, and when I did receive my order it was wrong. The toppings i requested to be removed from my burger were still there. I do not understand how people can place mobile orders and have the inside of the location closed, and there were no signs to direct us to where we could receive our orders.
I will go find another local Wendy's location from now on. Very disappointed in...
Read moreWell I said I would change the ratings if they got better so I am upping the ratings to 3 stars from 2. I haven't had any stale burgers in the last year or so which was a big issue for me and for the most part the I haven't gotten any cold burgers. The only other issue I have now is cold fries and cold poutine as well as customer service issues. One time I ordered a combo from this location and they asked me what drink I wanted so I said water. They literally told me and absolutely denied me the water saying they can't do that. I said i'm not asking for free bottled water or bottled water to replace the pop, just water from the machine where the pop comes out (which all pop machines have this option). They said nope I have to get pop only. That really angered me. This is literally the only place I have ever encountered such a thing and by the way to my understanding it is illegal to deny someone completely water (tap water) in Toronto as it is a Toronto Public Health Ordinance. But even beyond that this was just to replace the pop that came with my meal, its like asking for pop without sugar and carbonate, how is that not allowed?
