Wow! Wing House — Restaurant in Toronto

June 11, 2023 Had to add this to the review. Got a follow up from WOW WINGS. Management was concerned and is going to rectify their error and replace my order. They recognized the issue and wants to fix it. This is BONUS on their part to be fair, admit error and look after their customers. I have changed my review from 2 stars back up to 5 stars.

Thought highly about this location on Milner. Go there quite often (once a week, sometimes more 2 lbs every time) for myself and take to my folks as a treat. Probably have bought there over 30 times, Made a fantastic Blue Cheese (brown eyed blonde) with lots of sauce that no other company does - that’s why I kept going back. I even told friends who go there for the same wings. My last experience has changed my opinion: Bought 2 lbs on June 8 took it home, opened it, and was disappointed to see they skimmed on the sauce (looks like they used the remaining mix from the last set the did for another customer) as well tasted 3 wings and the chicken tasted old not the same as before. I called to complain and all I got was sorry. No interest to fix the issue. I took the remaining back the next day to show them and explained. They said it was from yesterday and the sauce absorbed into the wings that’s why it looks like that. I showed a picture I took the day before after trying 3 wings. She said oh, sorry. I left the remaining wings there. AGAIN, Not that I was trying to get food for free and being a regular customer - no offer to replace Bad way to handle dissatisfied customer. I guess they were just glad to get the sale. So, my last experience is that I paid $29.65...

I’ve come here many times this year and usually order the Devil’s Ranch wings. When I visited last night around 8, the wings I received tasted like acid. When we complained, the staff gave us a lot of trouble and insisted it was just the flavor we chose, but it was completely inedible. I’ve never tasted anything so vile in my life.

We asked to speak to a manager, but there wasn’t one available. Instead, they remade a new batch for us, which came out in under 5 minutes even though our original order had taken about 20. That already felt strange, and when we tried the wings, they tasted odd and the texture was off. The server asked how everything was and then went to the back, where we could hear staff laughing.

At first we didn’t notice, but after trying one wing, it was extremely chewy and just wrong. It honestly felt like they either washed the original wings or didn’t cook them properly. The first batch at least still tasted like chicken, even though the flavor was bad, but the second batch was disgusting to the point that we felt sick.

We ended up leaving the food and walking out. We paid $40, but it’s not even about the money. The servers were extremely rude, and if they weren’t able to properly remake the wings, they could have just told us nicely. Instead, they served us something that could have made us sick. I was gone today first time this location for jaffnaa fries. We usually going Markham location. which is best customer service and Here we bought Jaffna fries and giving instructions for less sauce and take out for that then we see inside having no sauce. This same instructions we all time giving in markham location when we purchased Jaffna fries. But then when we see no sauce And my husband go again to told one lady she wears 2 hair pony tail and red Ti-shirt she having a phone continuously and never seen customer is coming for order only call order she is doing busy with calls. Then when i came inside she told us sauce for extra charges i told her instructions less sauce but they put no sauce. And i told her give us sauce she said it’s extra charges. I told why extra charges but you didn’t put sauce inside. Too much attitude inside her she is not friendly even not giving customers service. So please don’t go this location. Going another location it’s will be good customer service. They don’t deserve...
