I just placed an order on Uber Eats, they had this fantastic deal where you buy one bowl and receive a second free. I have ordered from here many times before as I genuinely love their food but I received my bowls with barely any protein at all. I was able to count a total of 7 chunks of chicken in my bowl. I was pretty upset considering if I had known the protein would be impacted as such I would have never ordered this buy one get one. In the past the protein has surpassed my expectations so to receive a bowl that had close to none was frustrating. I had called the location where I ordered my bowl from and the staff basically wrote me off said that’s that, there’s nothing she can do. I asked to speak with a manager and she stated the manager is not in I would have to call back. I asked if she could leave a note so that the management team could either A give me a call back when it was appropriate or B at least be aware that there was a customer complaint. The staff member proceeded to try to explain that one scoop of protein is what is given and that’s what she did. At this point I was getting more frustrated because my food is not how I expected it to be, staff member is not trying to meet me half way and I have someone trying to dismiss my request to speak with management. The call ended because this Staff member decided to hang up on me. I am fuming and will never order from here again. Read moreYesterday they had their annual deal of every burrito and burrito bowl for $5.55 rather than the $11 they normally charge. Yet I guess whoever the manager was at the time decided to only employ two people behind the counter. It was a shitshow and a half. I was on break from work and had to wait 20+ minutes for them to even take my order as the line was over a dozen people long. As someone that had worked in fast food for years, there was no communication, no correlation, and little effort as they asked the same questions repeatedly. Most of the ingredients in the burrito were bottom of the pot leftovers, so it tasted below average, but how do you know your entire menu is 50% off yet still only schedule two staff to work? Poor management decisions, and it’s safe to say I’ll be avoiding this particular location from now on. There’s a Subway in the same plaza and I’m spending $3 less on food a lot better than this, presumably with staff and management that actually care about foreseeing sales properly. I find that the lady who is there (who never changes) is also dismissive and sometimes manipulative. She will pout a bit if you don't immediately order and she overall just tries to make you purchase more.
I guess it's good salesmanship but it could be way nicer. I don't find either of the 2 employees and or owners pleasant.
All the food is overpriced as well sadly. And it's not that awesome.
