Visited Sunday afternoon so expected the place to be pretty quiet and greeted by friendly staff. Three tables occupied so no problem getting a table, there are booths as well as open tables. You can order via a screen or ask the staff. Staff speaks Korean and Japanese, kitchen staff apparently Japanese. I ordered the Japanese pickles and some house sake as i expected some wait for the order, however, my order of fried caramel chicken (karage) came quick and also came with fries. The prices for beer were inexpensive so I ordered a Japanese beer to go with the chicken. A good choice and there were lots of other interesting things on the menu, tending towards a good selection of fried food. The prices were pretty reasonable. The house sake was to be expected there was also a good selection of premium sake and Korean alcohol. The pickles were interesting ,I believe, Kimchi, pickled cucumber and radishes. Prices were very reasonable. Atmosphere was casual and the facilities were well maintained. ADDITIONAL noticed the fried chicken portions have got smaller since the Summer of 2024 although still kept at the same price.

First time dining. The place is quite cozy, clean and welcoming service. Food was on the saltier side. I ordered a platter. However, I asked my server if it included chicken or any other meat aside from fish she responded no. I only eat fish. I was a bit disappointed since I only wanted a salmon maki roll with avocado. When the platter came there were rice cakes, sausage and chicken. I explained to the server that I don't eat chicken or sausage and she simply just looked at me and walked off. I ate the 4 🍣 a small green salad, bits of spiral pasta with mayo and the insides of two veggie rice rolls and the orange slices. The maki roll was extremely salty. The egg and rice cakes smelt really off. I did eat the egg since eggs are a favorite of mine however, i really resent the putrid smell. Presentation of the food was quite simple but nice. I did not enjoy the food. Overall the ambience of the place is quite nice with sectioned off dinner tables with dimly lit lighting for special occasions and prices are reasonable. I give 3 stars for the atmosphere and price point alone. 👌

I came here with my family for Winterlicious. We parked at the Green P parking lot just behind the store, which was convenient. We sat in an adorable little booths which gave a sense of privacy. Ordering was quick and easy, as we just selected our food and drinks from the tablet at the table. Food came quickly and I was surprised by the portion sizes (especially my fish cake appetizer). My fried oyster bento box was great: oysters were fried with a very light, panko-like crust and the karaage (fried chicken) was clearly fried with a different batter. We ordered two different types of the cheesecake for dessert: green tea and black sesame. Initially when the cake slices came, I thought they looked a bit small but the taste packs a punch. Tokyo Grill serves a rich, baked cheesecake; probably the best I've had at a non-dessert restaurant. The cheesecakes are a must-try! The only thing we didn't enjoy was the music which was too loud for us (even seated in a booth). Overall, a good dining experience for a great price.

Horrible management. They never have the deliveries done on time. Even when it's absolutely dead inside, they still can't manage to get anything done on time. There is literally no one in this restaurant and they are fifteen minutes late. As a rule of thumb, if a restaurant can't get the deliveries done on time, there's not much they can do properly. And if they're this late, they are absolutely clueless. They're so inept, they can't even get the wait time accurate. They say five minutes, and then after seven minutes they say, oh, another seven minutes.... And then it's twenty minutes late. Pure incompetence. To make it even more ignorant, they don't have parking. So they not only waste the driver's time, make deliveries for other restaurants late, they ensure drivers get tickets while waiting for their incompetent staff to do their very simple job. Get rid of the management and every single employee in the kitchen. This is easily one of the most poorly managed restaurants in the whole region. Pure ignorance and incompetence. That's how restaurants go out of business or barely get by, by operating exactly like this one. If you ever wonder why your delivery takes forever or arrives cold, it's because of garbage businesses like this. Take your business elsewhere. There's plenty of better options close by. If you're a driver, and you see this, give them a bad review of your own. Make them respect the drivers and the deadlines or put them out...

Over the weekend I was with a friend and we visited Tokyo Grill. After the meal thought an incident occurred. I gave a small tip and the waitress who I now realized wasn’t even our server at all rudely asked if we were upset with her when we said no I thought it was odd so I walked up and politely asked if everything was okay. The girl with dry attitude made mention that the tip was “too small”. And I get it times are rough so I said well I can give you more, how do I go about it? She rudely stated that it wasn’t necessary but I insisted and gave her a bigger tip that she stole because again she wasn’t even our server. And not with one ounce genuine thankfulness and still with an attitude said thank you and that i didn’t have to do it. And she’s right I didn’t and I shouldn’t have. Because it wasn’t hers to take in the first place and made me feel uncomfortable for something she’s not even allowed to do. Asking for more tip is quite ballsy and rude ( but even knowing that I still decided to give more tip). Anyways I thought I would leave the review because I want the restaurant to give that high tip to the short girl with glasses and black medium hair ( who actually gave us our food) not the girl with light brown hair, skinny frame and doe eyes. And yes I won’t be...
