Zam Zam Tikka and Kabab — Restaurant in Toronto

I was a regular customer until I experienced terrible customer service. I used to take my wife there regularly and was pretty happy with their food. But the last time i went there i got my food for take out. I trusted them so much that i did not even question what they packed for me cuz i never imagined they would take advantage of my trust. I ordered iftar platter which comes with a karahi chicken. After i reached home i saw all they put in the box was a piece of chicken and nothing else. The other box of iftar i took was a total mess and so unappetizing. However we did not want to make a fuss of it and decided to take the boxes and get something else. So We went there and told them what we wanted to which this one guy said there policy says we HAVE to take the same exact item we did.. I was confused and told them that at this point i lost the appetite to have these food as everything is so messy and mixed up, i don’t want the money but I’ll just take something else.. So the guy said its their policy to not refund in any way and he will give up more gravy but will not change the items for us… I was baffled at this guys attitude and customer service… all i wanted was something else even a curry would have done the job for me…but the guy was adamant that we have to take this…My wife usually never talks in these kinda matter but she also was very disappointed at this guys attitude… This guy also said it was their fault that they gave different items in the wrong compartment of the box to which my wife asked as it’s their fault shouldn’t they make sure the customers are happy and they should make compensation..the guy said he was making compensation by giving us the gravy…I wanted to say something but my wife nudged me and said just leave it…we left very unhappy and i will never come back here again…they thought I don’t understand Urdu but i heard and understood the attitude they threw facing the other...

05OCT22 Terrific dinner tonight: chilli chicken, vegetable biryani and naan. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ again!

27SEPT22 My original plan was for some butter chicken, but after I arrived, I noticed a Lunch Special for $14.99 (11:30am-3pm).

That was it. I changed my mind. Lunch thali it would be. It's a fixed item plate (no substitutes) but the items aren't always the same.

Today's offering: tandoori chicken, chicken korma, rice, channah masala, mixed vegetables, salad and naan. A perfect variety, especially for those of you not familiar with Indian fare.

Ended the meal with an order of kheer (Indian rice pudding) topped with crushed almonds.

Another 5⭐️ meal!

29MAY22 In the neighborhood today, so I thought I'd pop in for some takeout. Chose the veal biryani, extra spicy. And you know? Their takeout is just as good as their dine-in. My order was ready in about 10 minutes - couldn't wait to get home to eat it! Still 5⭐️s!

16MAY22 My friend and I dined in for lunch today: saag, beef curry, mixed vegetables, steamed rice and naan. Such a treat! Love this place! Ordered extra saag and rice to take home! And Zuhaib was a most gracious host! Upgrading to a 5⭐️ rating.

09FEB21 Ordered boneless chicken biryani through Skip the Dishes. My previous entry was from 2 years ago and so good to say that the quality, taste and value is still amazing!

15JAN19 Incredibly delicious food (sizzling meat platter, onion naan, shrimp pakora) and bright, clean dining area. Staff could learn how how to be a tad friendlier - smiles go a lonnng way!...

I recently visited Zam Zam Tikka and Kabab, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food and service.
