A&W Canada — Restaurant in Town of Bridgewater

Went through the drive through just after 9pm. There was a few cars in line ahead of us, but not many at all. The parking lot was near empty. We were one car away from the speaker and it still took more than 10 minutes for us to get up to place our order. once we finally got to the speaker, we were told it would be a minute. we waited another almost 10 mins. At this time the only car ahead was at the pickup window. I mentioned to my partner who was driving how long it had been. At this point, someone said to us "have we taken your order yet?" we said no, and they responded with "what do you want?". We ordered, and proceeded to the window, where we sat for another almost 10 mins. they finally gave us our food then told us to have a good night and shut the window without giving us our drinks. I would have understood the wait a little if out food was actually warm and fresh. Our fries were cold, the cheese on my burger had the texture of hardened plastic, and my partners burger only had the spicy sauce on a small part...

We went through the drive through and had to wait for our food in the parking lot, no big deal, when the young man came and gave us our food he was very polite, we checked the bag before we left the parking lot and and noticed they forgot the dipping sauce, again no big deal! It happens, my partner went inside to grab some sauce and the lady at the counter said no problem! Great! But then another lady overheard and made eye contact with my partner, pointed to the young man that gave us our food, and said “it was his fault” …… UNBELIEVABLE, a grown woman threw her coworker, a young man, completely under the bus! We didn’t care whose “fault” it was, we just asked for sauce. The fact that she disrespected another staff was beyond me. If she hadn’t taken the time to point out whose “fault” it was, I wouldn’t be making...

I don't eat fast food often but when I do I enjoy a&w. I was a bit disappointed with my last visit as I ordered a grandpa burger with a poutine and a diet root beer. The poutine was delicious but after I got home and unwrapped the grandpa burger I come to realize it was made with buddy burger patties. My first bite I didn't even get patty. That's when I realized the wrong patty was used. If they ran out of regular patties, they should have let the customer know as well as discounted the price as the buddy burger patties are basically half the size.
