Pizzatown — Restaurant in Town of Bridgewater

Ordered delivery from here as I am in quarantine from entering from outside province and all other delivery places were closed. Wanted to try a NS Donair as I heard they are all the rage. I also ordered a caprese salad and a margherita pizza.

Price was good I would say. Fair for what you order. The caprese salad was delicious and had a great dressing. I enjoyed it. The pizza is for another day, however I did try a sliver. It’s pretty tasty. Not the best I’ve ever had but certainly not pizza hotline terrible, I would say a 7/10. So decent for sure. The Donair. Now the beef in this is spiced to absolute perfect. SO TASTY. However the sauce with it? I’m wondering if it is an acquired taste because I found the sweet and savory combo to be a bit odd. I did eat it all. I totally plan to try another at a later date to give it a fair shot.

Delivery was quick. The driver followed instructions well, so kind to make sure my food got into my hands by waiting outside the door to make sure I arrived to grab it!

I ordered 2 large pizzas on August 10th. One of them came upside down (toppings slid off) called back, was told the next Pizza I order for the one that was messed up would be free $54.91. (Including delivery fee and charges). Half of that would be $27.45 for the free pizza next time. I ordered on Aug 25th and the delivery charge with 2 large pizzas was over $30.00. Called the shop and after the person I was speaking with argued with me saying he would deal with it after. Then he hung up on me.

The delivery driver was super nice. Offered the price I was promised "after offering tip for delivery".

I ordered from these guys once a week. Sorry Pizza town there are IOS Pizza, Jessy's Pizza, Pizza Delight, Charlie's Pizza and Boston Pizza in this town. I order a lot of pizza (probably 4 a month.) Easily WILL go else where. Very poor...

Visited 01/13/2023 at 2:30pm Service is always absolutely fantastic. Pizza is perfect, they don't skimp on the toppings, sauce is good, crust is good, and the prices are right, especially with the specials. The donair sauce is perfect, on the thick side but not too thick. Always perfectly cooked, never too much or too little. Slices are usually uniform, nothing to worry about there. The interior is warm and welcoming, and the seats are insanely comfortable (like, really really comfortable? Which is very odd for a pizza place but I won't complain), I never feel like I'm intruding being there, like most pizza places around town.
