McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Bridgewater

My experience at the McDonald's in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia was by far the worst in recent memory.

I went through the drive-thru and had to repeat my order 3 times to the person taking drive-thru orders. The order was not complex. 2 Crispy Chicken BLT combos with Coca-Cola to drink, 1 cheese burger Happy Meal with small fries and a root beer to drink, 1 chicken nugget Happy Meal, small fries, apple juice to drink, 2 large fries by themselves, and a medium root beer.

The agent at the first window had the whole order incorrect, and I went through it again with them, item by item. Paid for food.

The pick-up window only had half of the food entered after I just went through it item by item with the first window. Then had to pay for the 2 large fries again.

Pretty sure I was overcharged on this order but because of the whole experience, I didn't bother going in to complain as I will only use mobile order or the self serve order machines from now on. At least then, I will know what I am ordering and be only...

Update: DO NOT get the fish and chips. Total rip-fail. Two tiny frozen highliner fish triangles and less than a small fry. You are better off getting a file-o-fsh, ditch the bun and throw it on top a small fry. Cheaper too. Or, spend an extra $4 and go to the Riverpub and get some real fish and chips.

has the most horrible location. Very difficult to get in and out of and the parking lot is confusing. Especially when they have deliveries and put milk crates on the busiest part of the lot. Then they block off three spots for app orders. If you can't even manage your restaurant with what you have for parking space, then you should not provide app service. Plus the app offers pale by comparison to other locations.

That being said, the drive thru staff are very efficient and friendly. I think that either a new MacDonalds should open or they should move to a larger location with better access routes...

What can one say about McDonalds.... Seems we spend quite a bit of time waiting "around the corner" for our meal after going through the drive through. A lot of the times they are so busy that they really don't listen to your order and you either have to repeat and correct it a few times or you find out, after you've driven away, that they got it wrong. And don't get me started on how often the ice cream machine is "down"..... Update: 7 months later.... Food is horrendous. Ordered a Big Mac for the 1st time in a long while. Nothing "big" about it. Wafer thins, see through patties and just a lot of bun and filler. If I could post 0 stars, I would. UPDATE:. Jan 13, 2023... I thought time has passed and maybe... Just maybe... that Big Mac was an anomaly.... Nope... It wasn't. Went today, tried it again. Paddy's are so thin that they are practically see through. What the fudge??? Where's...
