A&W Canada — Restaurant in Town of Cochrane

Wow, where to start? Line was a little long so we went in. Was greeted with "I'll be rite with you" no hello. After serving two cars and starting to serve another. I could see it was a mistake to come in. We went outside and filed in line now that there was only 2 cars ahead of us. We made our order and was told we would have to wait. Thats ok, we understand. So we did in the parking lot. Our order came fairly fast, thats great I thought until I asked if there was salt and pepper in the bag. He said "no you didn't ask". It's automatic at any A&W that I ever ordered breakfast from. No problem I said I'll just go through the drive thru again. One car ahead of us, not a problem until it sat there for what seemed like an eternity as our breakfasts get cold. I'm not sure why we had to wait for our orders in the parking lot, and the car in front of me didn't. Finally got to the window just in time to wait again. It's only salt and pepper. After a few minutes I honked with no response. I got out and pounded on the window. Then I was met with attitude and an apology closing the window before I could finish my complaint. This is the best part. The bag was handed to us upright so when taking our food out of the bag our plates were on an angle. The bag was too small so the eggs toast and bacon were piled at one end. Dear A & W Manager,

This is very serious note from me. Very arrogant and like attacked on me. If I am not take my hand back then I lost my fingers or may be it was cut at drive through.

I am Doing Skip delivery from Morning 8 to Night 11 O'clock. I have order at your Cochrane 23 west side drive at around 10:52 PM.

I go to front door first but no one answer then i go to drive through but no one is answer. Then I come to drive through window but the lady in side not answer. then I horn but still she is not come to window and give any answer. Then after i out from my car and knock on window then she come very arrogantly and answer me very rudely. When i collect order I asked her name but again very arrogantly she not answer and close window, at that time if i am not take my hand back otherwise my fingers will cut.

I do work with all restaurants in Cochrane but not such kind of staff behavior i feels. Its very rude and not acceptable at all.

Its not like Canadian own and operated. Its like third class behavior at big name like A & W.

Please respect all people such like drivers, we are also your customers and behalf of your customers.

Went to this location before lunch for two beyond meat burgers. Unfortunately they came back raw, but definitely not the first time this has happened at this location. Went in to get 2 made fresh, not only did the cashier try to deny it by saying “no it’s all timed, there’s no way it can be undercooked” if it’s pink, it’s not cooked. It’s as easy as that. I tried to talk to the lady who appeared to be management, no name tags, but she cut me off, re-rung it in, didn’t say anything else to me just turned around back to expo. Where I continued to watch her bag food without sanitizing between touching the till and other items and back to the food that would go out to drive-thru customers. Also, I would highly recommend watching what you say when you have customers at the till as we can hear what you’re saying to kitchen. I didn’t see any quality control to the extent of when I got my food she asked me to check if it was cooked? Like what? Should you not have done that on expo? Is that not what expo is for? Needless to say, I won’t be coming back. The customer service alone...
