Most of the time they have great service however something happened today that made me question going to this specific location again. I was in the drive thru, had a $17.00 order and the drive thru line was about 15 cars long so all I had to do whilst waiting was to count my change making sure that it was accurate. I had a $10.00 bill, two toonies, two loonies and four quarters... $17.00 which was my total (I counted it at least 4 times before getting to the window, and I used to work cash at a retail location and my end of day cash count was never imbalanced so i know how to count my money) I get to the window and hand the guy my change and he says “this is only $15.00” I proceed to tell him the amount that I had given him and he says that I didn’t give him any loonies. He then says “I’m the only one in this place who counts the change when customers give it to me and it’s a good thing I do cause most people don’t give correct change. And I’m fast at it so I do it quick” so I’m sure he miscounted because he tried to count the change too quickly. He argued with me over this $2.00 for a couple of minutes and I didn’t have much extra change in my car as I was given the money from my boss to pick up tims today. This annoyed me as I am a regular at this location, I go 1-2 times a day and spend at least $5.00 each time I go... I won’t be going to this location anymore due to this mishap with this guy. I am very disappointed especially seeing as he was going to continue arguing with me until a coworker stepped in.
That being said, I understand that it is only $2.00 but if this happened to one person a day over the span of a year that’s $730.00 stolen from customers. Which is why this review is...
Read moreWe went in tonight (Aug 3) for a bite to eat and to talk. The person who took our order was great and the food was good. However, those were the only positives.
The comfortable seating area was already closed (6.30pm) even though the restaurant area doesn’t close until 10pm. The first couple of tables we went to sit down at were dirty.
While we were eating our food (reasonably close to the food prep area), staff started to clean vents over the food prep area. We were glad our food had been prepared before this. Several times there was a commotion as vent covers or grids were almost dropped. They eventually finished the vents behind the counter.
However, now they came to the front area and started to clean the vents with a broom and chunks of dust/build up wete going over the food prep area and towards us. One staff member noticed our attention, mentioned to the staff member “cleaning” that maybe just now wasn’t the right time. The one cleaning said “just cover the area up”.
We had planned to stay longer and get some dessert (aka doughnuts) but after being witness to this, decided to leave and doubtfully return to this location.
Very disappointed and I don’t believe this is a Tim Horton’s standard never good food...

A few weeks ago when I came in the worker slammed the window aggressively after handing me my order I said “thank you” she then proceeded to slam the window and say “cool” her name was Kat I’m pretty sure she was blonde then again today I went and asked for a farmers wrap then she told me they don’t sell them after breakfast anymore and I nicely replied with “oh I’m seeing it on your menu why is it on your menu still?” She started getting very angry and responded to my question with “what do you want me to do about it” I said “it probably should be removed from your menu after breakfast if you aren’t going to sell it anymore” she had started yelling and said “you can contact our manager in Brazil if you have a problem we can’t change that” I had told her how I work at McDonald’s and our menu changes after breakfast.
