Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Town of Hinton

Let me start by saying I have never given a business a poor review but i was so horribly disappointed with this place, I was compelled to. We preorded our sons 9th birthday cake from here. It was a basketball icecream cake. Nothing to fancy. They assured us it would be ready for the day of his party, today. It was not done or even started when we went to pick it up. Not only did they not try to remedy the situation but seemed pretty clueless as to why it was not done. In the end we settled for a premade cake which cost over 40 dollars but they were generous enough to take 2 dollars off for disappointing a child on his birthday. I was on my way back from a ski trip with my school we were hungry so we stopped in hinton for some food for me and my girlfriend i came upon a dq so we went there the cashier lady got my order wrong twice when i told her what i wanted and i wait for my food for 10 minutes and my girl friends food wasnt even cooked it was disgusting that my mouth went on it and swallowed it really was not worth the $18 for the food in general cause the fries werent even cooked too dont get dq in hinton just go to the burger king next to it or something and DAIRY QUEEN IF YOU READ OUR COMMENTS AND SAY YOUR GONNA DO BETTER ACTUALLY DO IT OR DONT BE WORKING AT ALL CAUSE YOU GUYS CANNOT DO ONE SIMPLE...

This would be one of my favorite spots in Hinton, the food is great, the service is excellent, but the atmosphere only gets two stars because for the last six months (or longer) they've been playing the SiriusXM advertisement station over the in-store speakers because DQ isn't paying their SiriusXM subscription anymore, so the whole time you're there eating your lunch, you just get to listen to advertisements for SiriusXM stations on an endless loop. At least change it to Boom 104.9 or CKUA or something! Super tired of listening to ads for my entire meal.

Otherwise, a great restaurant, some of the highest quality fast...
