If you are looking for good authentic Indian food to eat then DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!. DONT’ WASTE YOUR APPETITE, FOOD, TIME AND MONEY. We were here visiting JASPER and wanting to eat some Indian cuisine but this made our trip very unpleasant. We ordered 3 appetizers 2 fish pakora one vegetable pakora. The fish tasted frozen and was not properly seasoned. The vegetable pakora was stale and crispy. My dad asked for water but we weren’t serviced, after 10 minutes we had to ask another server for water. We also ordered butter chicken, village chicken curry and chicken biryani, which all tasted horrible and bland. We asked the server(guy in green shirt and gold chain) for the food to be spicy but the food was very mild spicy as well as the chicken used in all these dishes was baked chicken, and it was very chewy. The butter chicken and the village chicken curry basically tasted the same the only difference was the butter chicken was sweeter. Some more dishes we ordered were tandoori chicken and dal makhani and 6 garlic naan and plain rice. The Dal Makhani was tasteless and bland. The tandoori chicken was served with butter chicken sauce which made the tandoori chicken horrible on top of that the tandoori chicken was very bland and had no spice and was charred. The garlic naan did not have enough garlic on it plus it wasn’t cooked properly and after being 5 minutes on the table the bread turned stale and hard as a rock. The only thing we liked was the raita and rice that we ordered. I would advice you not to go there and waste your appetite, and money. As well as their service was very unprofessional. I should have read the reviews before I actually went here with my family don’t make the same mistake. READ THE REVIEWS if I could choose no stars I would. My whole family was disappointed and wish we spent our...
Read moreHorrible experience! Our total Jasper trip was breathtaking, and this was the only bad buzz. We went there when the restaurant was not too busy, and ordered the most common items - butter chicken, matar panir and basmati rice; anticipating the least preparation time since our kids were hungry.
Our server Dheeraj came with us and taking order with an attitude like we've committed a crime going there. He was moving frequently while taking the order and suddenly hit my leg. That's not a problem as it may happen anytime unintentionally; but he was absolutely nonchalant about it and didn't even care to say sorry, which was really shocking. I don't know which part of India he's from, but one would question the civility of the indian culture encountering him.
During the whole time, he didn't care to come twice to tend to our need, to our wonder. Didn't even come to refill water once. 4 other groups who came after us were served before us. Nobody cared to come tell us how long we have to wait. After 25 min, we asked them and found out it'll 10 more. After 35 minutes, the food finally came.
The portion sizes were shockingly small! Tastes were ok/mediocre. I wonder what took them so long.
When we were leaving, I asked the name of the server. The person upfront didn't even care to ask if everything was alright/any issues. That's how much they care overall.
There are many alternatives, absolutely...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant and would have given it a zero-star rating if possible. The service was incredibly poor, as I had to endure a 40-minute wait just to place my order. Even after finally ordering, it took an additional 20 minutes for them to bring us an extra plate. The inefficiency and lack of attention to customers were quite frustrating.
Furthermore, the quality of the Indian food I tasted was the worst I've ever encountered. We ordered three dishes: chicken tikka masala, kadahi paneer, and malai kofta. To my dismay, all three dishes tasted strikingly similar, as if they were prepared using the same sauce, with only the addition of chicken and koftas. This lack of distinction between the flavors was highly disappointing.
When I brought up my concerns to the restaurant manager, his attempt to explain that this is how Indian food is supposed to taste was both condescending and disingenuous. As an Indian myself, I am well aware of the authentic flavors and diversity that Indian cuisine offers. It was clear that the manager was trying to deceive me, which only added to my disappointment.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. The poor service, lackluster food quality, and disrespectful attitude from the manager make it an establishment I would not...
