Good service, but a couple complaints as well. A few years back, Birthday dinners were on the house. Then that changed to $25 for dinner. Now nothing with the exception of 500 reward points if you visit the restaurant with 30 days of your birthday. So, 4 of us, 2 ordered sirloin and panko shrimp, 2 ordered beef dip. My shrimp and sirloin came with a pice of meat shaped like a wedge of cake 3” tall, 1.5” at the widest point. Looked like the tail end of whatever it was cut from. Yes it had the necessary weight, but was not very eye appealing for the $40 price for my meal. I was offered 10% off, which I accepted. Also, portions are getting smaller over time, but the price stays the same or increases a little more with each visit it seems. The 2nd plate, which my daughter ordered was better. The approximate $23 price tag for the beef dip is not a great value for what you get. Tasty, but pricey. Then, because it was my daughters Birthday, were told desert was free for her. Normally would not order desert, but we did this night after being told this. Unfortunately when I reviewed my bill after I got home, I usually try to do this at the restaurant, we were not credited the $11.99 for this desert. Not so free at all. I only ordered this desert because of the stated free for Birthday. Also, my Birthday was 5 days previous to this, we ate here as well, and no one mentioned free desert for the Birthday person, and our server did know, she was informed, and even wished me happy birthday twice. So, Two birthday meals with 5 days of each other, a lot of money spent at this location in Hinton Alberta, and not as happy as I usually am eating at one of my favourite...
Read moreAfter a long day of driving we stopped by at this location last night because we are already tired and starving. When we entered the restaurant the server ignored us the first time after I greeted her, we thought she is just busy so we let it slide. We ordered fish and chips, seafeast fettuccini and steakbites ,upon serving the food, the fish and chips was placed in an aluminum tray. It was too warm to touch, the server was holding it with a cloth but she just handed it to us without a warning that the tray was hot so my partner grab it with her barehands not knowing that it can burn her a little bit. We just ignored it thinking she is just new. After that she serves the steakbites some pieces fell on the table and she simply grab it with her barehands and put it back on the plate. We were surprised and asked her to replaced it. She said that her hands are clean, we insisted in replacing it because we knew that awhile ago she touched a cloth while serving us our main course. I felt bad for asking for a replacement and apologize to another server who gave us the steakbites. She just said that we already have the replacement and apologized for the wait. The worst customer service we ever had. Usually I dont give negative review but this kind of customer service has to stop. The pasta is good, the fish and chips are dry and the steakbites is too hard,i think they just dipped it again in the oil thats why its more darker and harder I used to work in Mr. Mikes as a cook for a year thats why i know…On a positive note the...

Do you know how sometimes businesses sell out. What I mean specifically is when a business with a strong brand , reputation for quality and a loyal customer base sells the rights to its business for use by anyone willing to pay the franchises fee or rights to the business.
And in many cases the quality goes down as the new owners of the business have not invested in learning what made the company attract customers in the first place.
That is what is happening here. A huge disconnect between what is promised - and the owners having even the smallest pulse on what is going on in the kitchen.
Let’s start by giving my lunch a name - Marriott of mistakes
1.Chicken burger was actually 3 chicken strips put together ( fail )
Chicken was so over frozen and old that it was hard and chewy. HOW DO YOU SCREW UP CHICKEN NUGGETS. Gordon Ramsey would condemn this restaurant and not help fix it -probably using his quick wit by enthusiastically yelling - MR Mikes ? More like mr YIKES!
( just invest some money into some new frozen food you cheap sakes )
Lastly ( turn away if you are queasy ) The coleslaw tasted like a vile bag of puss. Old and congealed. It tasted like a staph infection smells.
I’m not sure how you have not failed - step up your game this is just shameful -
No wonder it was empty at lunch -
On a side note - fries where fire...
