I happen to photograph hotels and restaurants for a living. That is not bragging, it is a set up for this review. What my experience means is that Iâve had breakfasts, lunches and dinners at some of the best hotels that this country has to offer. This restaurant was part of a trip that started in Jasper and even there Kimchi House is well known for itâs food. There is a Kimchi House in Jasper, and one here in Hinton. The food is extraordinarily good. Tasty, spicy, savoury⊠everything I love, especially when it comes to Asian food. I live in Vancouver where there are many Korean restaurants, but none of them even come close to the food here. Apparently, this is now a franchise and there may not be a better investment. In the three days I was in Hinton I ate here three times. Each meal was better than the last. If i wasnât leaving tomorrow I would go again. Itâs that delicious. The staff is warm, friendly and inviting and they made me feel completely at home. If you live in Edmonton, Edson, Jasper, or are travelling through on 16, this is a definite place to stop and eat. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for anyone that loves Korean food or simply wants to experience truly great Asian cuisine. Anytime Iâm near Hinton Iâm coming back. Unless someone opens a Vancouver...

We were wonderfully surprised by the delicious food and fast, friendly service. We didn't know what to order, so we had the dinner for two. The veggie dumplings (8) were amazing - crisp and delicious! The Woo Dong (beef/noodle soup) was super tasty - loved the texture of the noodles! The two main dishes - Beef Bul Go Gi and Spicy Dak Bul Go Gi (chicken) - were both ultra scrumptious, especially the kimchi. We ordered them spicy and they delivered the heat, without being overpowering. For a lunch, it was a bit expensive, but we took half the main courses to our next destination (including white rice) and so we got two meals out of it. And, when you consider that fast food would have cost 60% of our total, it turned out to be a bargain. All in all, I would heartily recommend the Kimchi House. It's right off Hwy 16, so you can stop, eat, and be back on the highway in a few seconds. I'm so glad we...
