Recardo's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Mahone Bay

A great pizza, although a bit heavy on the sauce for my personal liking. This is my first time ordering here. Grabbing it while working. The works toppings were a great portioned amount compared to most pizza places. They also were very tasty. The crust was very delicious. I had it as take out and it sat in the work truck for 10 minutes after I picked it up. It was still a great temperature and unlike most pizza places it did not make the box soggy or greasy. I'd love to try the Donair pizza next time, and if I order a pizza with traditional sauce I might ask for a light sauce. Again personal preference and my first time dining. I was waiting outside while my wife and daughter were in the shop next door and couldn't ignore the odor anymore. Wow! The pizza was awesome and considering that I only bought a slice, I was very impressed. In fact once my daughter came out and got a whiff, she snatched it out of my hand and frigged off with it. At least I got some of it! The taste and proportion of ingredients was better than my favourite place back home. These people have it going on and I'll eat there again...

Originally my review was 4 stars but the last few times I've gone my food and service quality has taken a nose dive.

I had ordered my food by phone for pickup and was told it would be about 30 minutes. I arrived after 35 minutes had passed and was told it was going to be at least another 20 minutes.
