McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Slave Lake

Nearly everyday I’m going through the driveway to collect my $1 icecream cone, and as you pull up to the kiosk, this recorded voice yells, “ARE YOU COLLECTING POINT ON THE APP”, and every time I say yes, and without fail, the McDonalds worker ignores my response and proceeds to get my order WITHOUT getting my code. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT RECORDED MESSAGE IF YOU’RE GONNA IGNORE WHAT THE CUSTOMER RESPONDS WITH!? On the positive side, the icecream at this location does NOT miss, their machine is never broken, and they will stack as much icecream as possible onto that little cone. More often than not, my cone is being handed to me at an angle because the sheer quantity of the icecream must be balanced at a precarious angle to keep it all on, and it’s fantastic. And every time, the worker handing me that icecream will have a twinkle in their eye, as they recognize that they are handing me a ridiculous amount of icecream for the low-cost of $1.05. We are from out of town, went through drive thru and ordered 3 meals, 2 double big mac meals plain and one happy meal. We were waiting while they made the order in the specified parking stall. There was an order before us and an order after us waiting. They gave our order to the guy beside us and than asked us is this your order??? What do you mean? You should know. So they had to get us another made order! So we had to wait even longer....this is not Fast food. So we get our correct order of food and they dont even have my daughters fries in the happy meal and than after we had to walk in, she tells us "I'm sure I put them in there" ok so we are lying and she has to eat make believe fries you put in!!!! Come on people. Very poor service, needs...

1st time eating at McDonald’s in at least a year. Decided to walk in (Slave Lake location) and it was a bit disorderly, trying to figure out who’s in line, who’s wanting to order. Finally I get served, asked for 2 sausage and egg McMuffins, got my order and left. Service was quick. Got in my vehicle, wife and I opened the sandwiches and they were 2 chicken and egg mcmuffins. Went back, the lady at the til calls the other lady out from the back and shows her that she screwed up my order, right in front of me. I’m writing this review in hopes that the lady at the til, whom I’m assuming is the store supervisor, reads this. Don’t ever put your workers down or call them out on mistakes in front of customers. It’s a very poor leadership...
