On first glance when opening the box after pick up was..... it's a really delicious pizza! Fresh, piping hot out of the oven, toppings are good quality, not fancy just really good...., but it's oooey gooey, cheeeesy goodness... with the perfect amount of sauce....it's seriously is a pizza You can't wait to sink your teeth into! I picked up a slice in anticipation, with complete delight when all toppings stayed on the pizza (pizza lovers I speaking to you...you know the disappointment we've all been through - didn't happen with this pizza! Note to self, I always order extra cheese and with Buster's pizza it was extra delicious. Okay back to my experience with my first slice.... When you've almost devoured the first slice, where you've arrived at the crust... it ends with a golden buttery, lightly crunchy crust pizza! Come on! Buster's is the best affordable pizza in these recession penny pinching times - hallelujah something to look forward to! It was an awesome pizza that was conveniently prepared fresh, when I placed my order by phone and requested a pick up 45mins rather, (then the mentioned 15mins it would be ready) But, I made it clear so that he knew I would be 45mins. He communicated back to me, just as requested, and we were in business...the pizza was ready when I arrived! Great customer service! Affordable prices! I will definitely be ordering pizza for lunch from Buster's Pizza & Donair, Sylvan Lake location AGAIN! Highly recommend! NOTE: my apologies- My pictures submitted were taken about an 1-1/2 hours after I picked up and started eating my pizza.... TRUST ME... it was still good when I reheated the remainder in a hot not stick pan...

So as said in my original review, I've been coming to this location on and off for a while. In all honesty I think the food is good and I was being too harsh in my original review.
Anyways I got some coupons in the mail and decided to buy some food for me and my family, so a few weeks ago I walked in and tried to order a 2 for 1 Donair and was told that the coupon only applies to a regular Donair, I just thought "Whatever they don't need to specify on there." and bought my food, I was going to pay with a 20 dollar bill and the guy behind the counter said something I couldn't understand, and I ended up paying 16 DOLLARS for a meal that was 11 dollars. How do I know that it was 11 dollars? Well.
Today I wanted some lunch and got the same coupon in the mail, and read it over, turns out that the buy one get one free doesn't specify sizes but the others do. So I drove over to the store and tried to order the largest size for me and my family, he said "No that's only for regular." So I pulled out the other coupon and said "Why doesn't it specify there but it does here?" and he said "It just doesn't." and had the audacity to laugh. So I bought my small Donair for 11 dollars, NOT 16, for the last time ever, horrid service, and a cashier that robbed me in...
Read moreJust moved to Sylvan Lake about a month ago or so on this was the first place that I tried for a Donair. As I usually go for Cleopatra or red City in Red Deer I I will admit I'm a little bit spoiled in terms of being used to a high-quality Donair. When I went to him the first thing I noticed was that the meat was on spit but there was no heat and it was late in the evening andlooked like it had been up there for some time. When they cut the meat off the spit the inside was still red so I asked him to cook it more on the grill which he did. The Donair was mediocre and I didn't get sick although a week later when I went to Booster Juice next door I noticed that red deer pizza and Shawarma was shut down due to a health code violation. I would really like to know what it is for or how to look it up. Probably won't be going back...
